Lol…if your mom used the seasoning from a packet like 90% of moms out there, then yeah, it IS just like mom made.
seasoning from the pack doesn’t have all that crap in it. so its not like mom made.

All the non-beef ingredients here are pretty standard additives (preservatives, flavors, and stuff that affects the mouth-feel of the food). None of them are close to being dangerous in the minute amounts found in a taco at taco bell. People should concern themselves more with the macronutrient/micronutrient content of the taco and how it fits into their diet rather than obsess over microscopic amounts of additives, most of which are completely harmless or only slightly harmful at ridiculously absurd doses.

So you agree with changing the definition of beef to include soy, wheat and oats? That is essentially what taco bell is arguing. 35% of their beef product is made up of non beef ingredients. This is shit food, plain and simple.

No, I agree that it is misleading to the consumer to claim that you use “100% beef” when the beef you use has a grocery-list of ingredients.
What I don’t agree with you is that “this is shit food, plain and simple.”

If it’s not shit food then what is it? Low grade beef made even cheaper with fillers, binders and flavor enhancers. I don’t know about you, but I’m into a lifestyle that involves fitness and healthy eating. There is zero room in it for food like this. If I want to eat junk food I have a lot of options that don’t involve eating cheap, low grade filler disguised as beef.

Natural cut fries are worse for you than the old ones. Not by much, but it’s funny that they’re marketed now to seem healthier, but aren’t.
Yay Wendy’s

These fries suck.
Man I kind of liked the old mush fries. They were a differentiator for Wendy’s.
