Welcome to Detroit

this is where I grew up. Bet most people don’t know how fucked up it is. Take a tour at the site below.

I’ve only been to Detroit once, but it’s a pretty grim reality when you see it up close.

That whole state is terrible.

Where abouts in Detroit did you grow up?

My brother has a saying: “T.I.D.” - Can you guess what it means?

Hint: From a movie.

LOL… we have our shiny “FIP” right here, guys.

I’ve been there twice. Downtown really sucks. Not a place you want to walk around at night. Me and a friend didn’t even walk anywhere during the dark, we just took a cab and refused to be shanked.

One night me, some white kid and my son were getting chased by some thugs. White dude with me had one the biggest rocks of crack on him that I first discovered. Well he got blotted up real goood and handed me the rock and told me to go!!! As I ran off, with him laying there dying I swear I heard him whisper these words before his last breath…“THIS IS DETROIT”

Haha, YES CARLITO, YES! THIS IS DETROIT! My brother goes to school there now, and whenever shit goes down that could only happen in Detroit, he looks to whoever he’s with, and says “T.I.D.”

I occasionally work at Chrysler’s Mack Ave. engine plant. This looks like my commute…

On Faust - Southfield Frwy and Warren Ave.

I used to walk over a mile to school WHEN I WAS IN KINDERGARDEN (1971)! That’s not a lie. I don’t even let my kids out of my sight now.

That website is a little weird to navigate thru but the most DEPRESSING pics are the ones of the mansions and beautiful old buildings that are falling apart.

Capitalism was corrupted by the locusts, the over half of American people who get a check from the government. They don’t build or rebuild, they just drain, like vampires. All liberals, all progressives, all Democrats, are vampires.

The drained corpses you see (American cities) are the result of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, and crony capitalism. This last, where the last bit of life is drained to feed bankers and similar criminals, is the final death dance of the system.

Its not the city that’s the problem, its the people in it and the people running it.

I get out all the time dont worry. I went to school up there at MSU and I enjoyed but I just felt the whole state was kind of in shambles no only the big cities. Obviously there are some nice towns scattered throughout that I have been too and I still go up there often, but for the most part I feel that state is going nowhere but down. Im not happy about that but thats how I feel about it.

As for FIP, im used to it lol.

Don’t even get me started.

Altruism, statism, socialism, collectivism, the Democrat party - all guilty of robbing the producers to pay the PARASITES.

I don’t know that it will ever come around.

I think I’ve got 1400$ worth of schoolarship in total the last 3 years.

Which is pretty damn amazing considering school, up to and including university level, is completely free (even books, I got a free laptop too), and I live at home (I am 18).

In socialist Europe, government pays you
