I grew up in the D. All of my family still lives there. I’ma move back there when I’m done with school and can make a real change. I’ve got a group of friends that plan on doing this together. The city needs some kind of industry badly, not govt checks. It needs some self reliance.

I think I’ve got 1400$ worth of schoolarship in total the last 3 years.
Which is pretty damn amazing considering school, up to and including university level, is completely free (even books, I got a free laptop too), and I live at home (I am 18).
In socialist Europe, government pays you

BTW - the United States is also a Socialist country, but not officially.
Also, there’s really no such thing as FREE. Maybe you got a laptop for free but your fellow countrymen are paying their asses off in taxes. Lots of stuff is free here in the states too but it’s the working SUCKER, the productive people, that have to pay so the parasites can have welfare cellphones and free food from the grocery store.
Blame Kwame…now the city is even more in debt.
Can’t wait til they make about him and how he corrupted the city.
That website hurts my eyes. Whoever designed it deserves to live in Detroit
