Weight Gaining Shake

It’s my first time posting here guys. I’m not exactly a beginner but then I’m not advanced either.

After spending 6 months cutting and getting my bodyfat down to 12%. I am now clean bulking with 3000+ calorie diet. I’ve added 6 kilos of muscle in 8 weeks and no fat gains. I’m hitting a plateau now and am thinking about introducing a weight gaining shake.

In the weight gainer shakes you can purchase, does the carb content come from Maltodextrin?

The reason I ask is because I have a tub of maltodextrin and whey already and thought I could make my own weight gaining shake (50g whey protein, 50g malt along with 10g of fat from fish oil)

Is this homebrew essentially the same ingredients used by weight gain shake manufacturers?

Your definitely better off making your own, you could have a new flavor everyday. Not to mention different macro content.

3/4 cup raw oats
1/2-3/4 cup of cottage cheese
1/4-1/2 cup of peanutbutter
3 cups of milk
2-3 scoops of whey
tablespoon of phsylium Husk
cinnamon to taste
