Weight Gainer 2200

alright i know weight gainer isn’t the best thing to use to put on lbm, but i have a question about it. it says to mix 3 scoops into 24 fl oz, but the 3 scoops is 493g. am i really suposed to use that much of it each day?

also it says calories - 3 rounded scoops1850 and calories - 3 rounded scoops**2210, this makes to sense to me. oh and another tihng, is it made from feces because it tastes like sht and chalk.

okay i found out what the diffrence in * and ** is, so skip that question.

I have a question for you, how freakin huge is that scoop?

I got a tub of the same shit,
don’t use it, plain and simple, I opened mine and the scoop looked like a small dumptruck,
so I jumped online and read about these supps, they are all sugars, nothing good for you…
there are also the horror stories that I thought were hilarious, like people shitting bricks, and not a single good comment about it.

I didn’t even waste my time taking it, although they did get my 20 bucks for it…
oh well, I will try to pawn it off on someone that thinks they are a hardgainer.

uhh well that scoop is 493/3, which is huge.

Yes, its ridiculous to use these things, but if you’re in a jam and need calories, they can be implemented in your diet somewhere. Especially after workouts.

In addition, you are in control of your own calories, people. Don’t want all 2200 calories? Don’t use as much.

However, weight gainers are made to have the most calories possible, which means lots of low quality, insulin spiking carbs. As always, you’re better off with real food, but taking 1 scoop or even less in your post-workout window can be a good way to get some quick calories without filling you up.

As far as shitting bricks…I suppose so, if you ONLY ATE THIS AND NOTHING ELSE. Does noone eat fiber anymore?

Read the nutrition panel on these weight gainers. 2000+ calories and most of it is from sugar. I read one that had almost 200g sugar per serving. WTF? 800 cals from pure sugar. That’s sick (bad sick). That’s like 20 bowls of Frosted Flakes per serving. I can’t believe people buy this crap. Plus, you get like 5 servings per 6lb jug. At $40-50 per jug, you’d be better off just eating at McDonalds all day. You don’t want calories from sugar. Save your money and buy real food.

Tried this stuff out too, and it did make me shit a lot. A bunch of empty calories, pgj is right, you’re better off with more real food than sugars and other crap.

Does anyone have any good, cheap and easy weight gainer recipes . I have been pondering buying some crap at local supp shop to fill in some cals when on the run .
Something that had be kept for a while ina shaker cup (sealed) adn is easy to make and drink.

If not then ill keep with the Mcgriddles instead.

There was a thread a while ago and some folks posted ingredients for a 1000 cal shake. Mostly lots of regular low-sugar protein powder, oatmeal, milk, cottage cheese, raw eggs and some other stuff all blended up. These were guys who average about 7000cals a day. Big 250lb+ dudes. Seems to work for them.

Shugart gives a couple good recipes in his Quality Mass Diet.

Yeah. That’s the way to go in my opinion. That thread proved that you can make your own very high calorie and much more nutritious shakes for pretty cheap.
