Weaning Off My AI Experiment Log

Are there studies proving this link?

Try telling people on other forums that…

How high was your T? Just curious.

My total T was 1266

Interesting. I’ve been paying attention to t:e2 ratios lately. 20:1 seems to be pretty common. The fact that you’re at 11:1 or so and still feel good is interesting to me. Not surprising, but neat to see.

The only time I’ve ever felt bad is when E2 is low. Achy joints, low libido, anxious, etc

If I didn’t get bloodwork to tell me my E2 was 115, I would have thought it was around 40-50 range. I had no idea. No symptoms

That’s awesome. And aligns with what @dbossa preaches.

Please provide links to the evidence that having high E2 while simultaneously having high Free T may increase the risk of prostate cancer.

It’s not estrogen… though one particular metabolite formed from estrogen does coincidentally appear to be more abundant within those diagnosed

Concentrations of estrogen however don’t appear to matter

In the absence of sufficient androgens (which both of these have omitted). When there ARE sufficient androgens it is suddenly prostate protective. Funny how that works?

Second study states estrogen concentration is irrelevant… even with hypogonadism I don’t think oestrogen is harmful to the prostate.

It’s been documented that those with hypogonadism furthermore (prior to androgen deprivation therapy… so to begin with) diagnosed with prostate cancer tend to have more aggressive progression

I think the prostate is fixed regarding the amount of AR it contains, unlike skeletal muscle. Super saturation occurs at a relatively low dosage of test (one would think) given higher dosages according to literature generally don’t significantly elevate PSA, nor do bodybuilders appear to develop prostate cancer at alarming rates (though I wouldn’t be surprised if the risk is somewhat increased). I believe prostate cancer/development of benign prostatic hyperplasia is largely based upon genetic predisposition.

I’m in my 4th week without an AI. It’s been mostly good so far. On the great side, my libido is at an all time high and erections at an all time hard. The down side of this is not being able to sleep on my stomach due to constant nighttime wood. After hearing so many times how high E2 tanked libido and caused ED, this has been a pleasant surprise.

On the bad side, I am struggling pretty hard with mood swings. So far they seem to be an every other week thing. Week’s 1 and 3, no issues, weeks 2 and 4, I’m a moody bitch (for no reason). Hoping that goes away soon. No gyno, no acne.

@dlsmith everyone complains of a lack of boners… and you have too many boners hahahaha!

What is your protocol? This sounds like an easy fix to me.

Hahaha. The struggle is real

And, by the way, welcome to my world of boners waking you up in the middle of the night. Amazing how that ‘high E2’ doesn’t seem to have the effect everyone claims it has, right?

This has happened to me too in many occasions… My problem is I can’t wake my wife up and feel compelled to start playing with it.

Opposite issue here… my wife insists that I wake her up

Damn man… That’s awesome

Winnn

Too many boners! This is the best problem ever, especially considering where I was 6 months ago!

I’m at 220mg / week plus HCG. Inject on Monday and Thursday night. I don’t need HCG, but wanted to make one change at a time, so I started with quitting the AI.

I have started to talk to my wife about HRT. I’m hoping to get her on this journey with me, so I’ll have a place for all these boners a little more often.

I wake up every single night with a raging boner almost always around 5 hours after I fall asleep. It’s the only thing that if I could change it I probably would. It’s a hard life.
