Weaning Off My AI Experiment Log

@Gossamer
Go get your foot checked out. Sounds like your foot is the issue. Being in Ortho for a while I’ve seen this type of issue a lot. There’s a ton of things that can cause it. The problem with feet is that so many different issues display the same symptoms.

I fell off a skateboard not long ago. I prayed to the TRT gods. It worked

Latest bloodwork from before I changed to EOD injections and before dropping the anastrozole. Injected Monday night, bloodwork Friday AM.

LabCorp
Serum Testosterone 540 (264-916)
Free Testosterone(Direct) 19.4 (7.2-24)
Estradiol 16.1 (7.6-42.6)

My doc said it’s ok for me to up my dose to 200 mg per week from 160.

I’ve been taking 200 per week, since I get 1 200mg/ml vial per week anyways.

You’re an asshole I’m glad your prayers were answered.

Dont be so sensitive man. You have to let TRT work in the background. Youre simply putting too much emphasis on it fixing all of your issues. I joke about my TRT not working if I snap a bolt on my project car. As for your AI, its out of your system. If you have a foot problem, then its a foot problem. Name calling is beneath you.

  1. I’m not sensitive. It was a joke.
  2. I’m not putting too much emphasis on trt. I honestly thought that something I’ve been struggling with, may have been alleviated.
  3. the kind of compartment syndrome that I have can only be alleviated by surgery. And surgery isn’t even a guarantee.
  4. name calling isn’t beneath me. If you knew me, you’d know that I constantly call people names when I’m joking.

No offense intended. Just a little tit-for-tat.

Oh my bad. Then never mind. I do hope you Get relief

It’s been just over 4 weeks that I’ve been off of anastrozole, and have been on eod injections. I’m still more tired in the evenings, than before.

Otherwise, libido is still hit or miss, which means it’s worse than before ditching the AI.

This may take 6 weeks, right?

Do you have blood results from the time before ditching the AI? Where is your T at with 200 mg per week?

I posted it about 5 or 6 posts back.

It was my last blood test before switching to eod, and before dropping the AI.

Took about 2 months for me. Libido took longer. I felt the worse than previously feelings as well. It’s gets better in time.

Thanks.

That’s good to know that I need to give it a little more time.

I’m not feeling horrible by any means. So, I can deal with this for a few more weeks.

I know many of you might start calling me crazy for what I’m about to say, but I’m going to say it anyway:

You might wind up needing more than 200mg a week.

160mg got your free T to 19.4. 200mg will maybe get it around 24. You’re like me. It took me 250mg just to get it to 28.

You may need more than 200mg. Don’t shoot the messenger.

Remember,

That 19.4 was at trough on every 3.5 days injections. With eod injections, there shouldn’t be that much of a trough, right? My doctor won’t, I repeat, will not go higher than 200 per week. I’d have to go somewhere else that may or may not give me more than 200.

Give it some time and see… not much of a choice.

For reference,

I just looked back at bloodwork from 2/14/19, and my free Test Calc-ARUP was 331 reference range (47-244), and from 4/30/19 Free Test Calc-ARUP was 308 Hf Ref range(47-244).

How does that transfer? Would it be 33 and 30 respectively?

Peak or trough? Or I guess you’re daily so it’s all about the same

I was doing daily at the time.

Cool. I’m at 25 free T at trough now on 195mg/week mon/wed/fri. May bump to 210mg and see what happens.

I use 200mg of cypionate per week split into two injections. I use 400 IU’s of HCG I take in one dose(seems to work for me). I take 1/4 pill of 25mg aromasin(roughly, they’re hard to split up since they’re small). My joints were hurting a little so I did an experiment where I didn’t take my AI for 3-4 weeks. I got my blood work back and my E2 sensitive was 115. The funny thing is I felt great, lol. I had no idea it was that high. I had the blood drawn on a Tuesday morning and I injected last on Sunday morning so I was probably at the peak (or around it).

I’ve since gone back to the 1/4 pill of aromasin to get it back down but I really don’t ever feel any different with high E2. No blood pressure problems or water retention. No libido problems, nothing. I thought I would feel something weird but everything was fine. I guess the only concern I really have now is keeping E2 high for a long period may increase risk of prostate cancer…so I’m back on the aromasin. Thought I’d share my story
