i made this with beef instead of turkey, and it’s delicious! mad gas though hopefully that won’t continue to be the case.
i like serving it with sour cream and cheese so far. this is a good thread! i love beans.
I cook a big pot of black beans and lentils ( a 3-cup pack of each, in different pots, but that’s just me) for about three hours. Just throw it on first while I’m cooking up the rest of my meals for the week. Then, when I’m finished preparing everything else, I check them beans (they’re usually done). I mash the shit out of the black beans and throw them in gladware containers (lentils are too small a legume to need mashing of). Cover with half-cup mozzi cheese and 3/4 cup picante sauce, and you have healthy, tasty, prepared meal high in protein, fiber, and awesome while still being low in calories.
For those who need calories, season with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and small children.

It will subside.
Thanks, easy recipe; takes only a few minutes to prepare (your can-opening skills being the determining factor). I make one batch a week, usually Sunday evening right before bed and its ready by the time I wake Monday AM.
I usually top it with fat free sour creme or jalapeno Havarti.
