U wouldn’t understand fighting for your country because your country doesnt stand for anything. Shut up America’s hat.

Funny how Canadians were allies when the hunt for bin Laden was on but became America’s hat when your leaders decided to give him a pass and focus instead on Iraq. I’m glad not all American’s are as ignorant as you.
but… you’ve always been america’s hat.

I like how george gets all the blame, I mean its not like we have a dictatorship or anything. The president is more of a puppet then anything.

I’ve always like the taller one, I think she is like 6’4 or something ridiculous.

no he hasn’t our military is voluntary at this point.

Sure, if you consider the fact that the majority of soldiers come from poor and broken homes with no other way to support themselves voluntary.

yeah, it’s called get a job.
…and they did

I’m not going to start addressing individual posts, but LOL@all the stupidity in this thread.

I’m not really much for politics and arguing wolrd affairs, but people that bitch about ‘How fucked up this is’ or what politician screwed what, or how many people have been killed, or whatever bullshit, really piss me off.

These are people who aren’t involved in anything, have no reason to be miffed, and should keep their stupid complaints to themselves, because they don’t matter and no one gives a shit,

espeically the people they are bitching about, because those people are the ones who actually affect the political situation, and whatever they do, or whomever is in office, or whatever war has been started or who has been killed, the general international climate will always be the same and, in the grand scheme of it all, it’s all going to be just like it has always fucking has been, which is pretty damn good.

Fuck. Don’t bring your politics forum into my GAL forum. I get all annoyed when you mix your chocolate with my peanut butter.

Yeah, but it was a “back-handed swat”, that doesn’t count. Now if it were with the palm side…

I think the President should be a Man of the People. Magnanimous, yet accessible.

so many chickenhawk warmongers in here

a pity that they don’t take their rhetoric to the frontlines

He actually tapped her lower back with the back of his hand after she turned and stuck her ass out for a “traditional slap.”

So they had it better under Saddam?

I’d rather you stop alluding to wars of aggression (and their disastrous humanitarian consequences) as inevitable catastrophes.

It’s not that Bush started a war. Wars start all the time. This one was particularly condemnable because 1) it was a war of aggression and 2) Iraq is on the other side of the globe. Telling people to “get over it”, is an invitation to repeating the same mistakes (i.e: buying into FUD).

People should be learning from their mistakes. Not disregarding facts because they may be uncomfortable.

Kerry Walsh is about 6’2". Amazing athlete- spike touches close to 10’ in the sand and over 10 feet on the hardwood back when she played for Stanford.

Interesting fact: her partner Misty May-Treanor is married to Matt (you guessed it) Treanor, catcher for the Florida Marlins.

They are both two of the best American indoor volleyball players ever and obviously the most dominant beach doubles team ever.

I think they are great role models for girls as female athletes because they are such dominant and intense athletes at the top of their sport while still remaining unquestionably feminine. I have also seen them at tournaments interacting with fans and both are class acts.

USA has an outside shot to take gold and silver in both mens and women’s beach volleyball this year- wouldn’t that be something?

What I said was the mistakes will always be repeated; in fact, they are not mistakes at all. The mistake is thinking you have some right to not be subjected to other people’s ‘mistakes’. You can’t condescend to the human race, you are the human race.

Get over yourself. Fuck the maimed kids. It’s all inevitable and your opinion doesn’t matter. Neither does mine, and I would usually keep it to myself.
