And I’m still unsure how you would like the media to cover this tragedy. All you talked about is “what if the races were reversed!?”. And how unfair the media is. So maybe you agree the media is covering this properly?
I will say this…if it is 100 percent proven guilty, not even any percent of doubt that an individual is not guilty of the crime…then the death penalty is sufficient
And I will also guarantee 100 percent that the individual put to death will never commit another hideous crime

From the way I see it, you wouldn’t know because it did not happen with reversed races lol.
I would say, like you did, that the states with the higher murder rates have other contributing factors but the results are correlative, not causative. Either way, I think the way the death penalty is dealt with in this country needs to be far more effective - or abolished. it shouldn’t take 20 years for a death sentence to be carried out, and it shouldn’t be so commonplace that innocent people are given the death sentence.

Because almost every time in the recent years when a black person is killed by a whites person, especially police officers, protests and riots occur, even mass looting. Even when the police officers were justified in using deadly force against some of these criminals.
But when a white person or a non black person is killed by a black person, crickets. Also, cops do kill white people too. Where are the white nationalist riots and looting, destroying innocent people’s businesses?

One incident vs how many of Black people rioting and protesting, and I suspect, just using some rare occurrence of police officers trying to apprehend Black suspects and killing them in the process because the criminals resisted and even tried to kill and attack the cops, to loot and create mayhem?
And when the capital hill police officer shot and killed Ashley Babbitt, were there ensuing riots?

you are correct that most white on black crime gets a disproportionate amount of national coverage and outrage - making a fuss about race when it’s the other way around is no more beneficial.
You’re bringing a terrible argument into the fold. Most news sources (and people) have chucked the capitol rioters into the bucket of ‘domestic terrorists’, regardless of accuracy.

I do think it is enough to say it isn’t a huge deterrent though. It hasn’t been enough to counter act those other factors (poverty, poor education, etc) that may increase murder rate in states with the death penalty, to make them equal to the states without the death penalty.

Are you arguing that because she is considered a domestic terrorist, she should be killed? So are criminals resisting police officers or even endangering their lives better than so called domestic terrorists?
My point is when white peoples are killed by black people or police, there are no riots.

Had the races been reversed, the media would have likely spent less time on the tragedy side of things with family stories, etc, and more time investigating the perpetrator with some media blaming white supremacism before facts were in hand.
I’ll ask again, how would you like to see the media cover this tragedy?
Personally, I think that is rather silly
race is nothing other than the color of someone’s skin. making it out to be any sense of superiority or inferiority is only prolonging the old wounds that have yet to heal. Race is a way to separate and marginalise people so they are easier to control; this is beneficial for businesses in advertising as well as politicians for policy. Neither are right to do so. As an example of why race shouldn’t matter:
NAACP - National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
NAAWP - National Association for the Advancement of White People
Why does one sound racist and the other sound beneficial? Because we keep prolonging the pains of generations past. Everyone in the country has equal opportunity, but if we keep sticking to racial stereotypes and talking about what makes us different - we will NEVER find reasons why we are more alike. Racism is a learned behavior; it will stop being learned when it stops being taught.
