GoFundMe removes page raising $5 million in bail money for Waukesha parade massacre suspect | Washington Examiner

TL;DR: someone who ‘knew’ the suspect set up the page, GoFundMe removed the page before any money had been raised and banned the person who posted the request.

Chances we will see more of this? 7/10 IMO. Props to GoFundMe for doing the right thing here though.

Authorities should really release more info soon or they risk letting rumors circulate about the perps motives, actions, and causes of the tragedy eg. “He was having a schizo break and now police are railroading him”. Don’t want untrue rumors sympathetic to the guy circulating.

I agree. I believe they banned Kyle Rittenhouse as well. This is justice and I do not like fundraising campaigns when it comes to justice. No matter if it is a 17 year old innocent and heroic boy that single handedly stopped the majority of riots or a career criminal that did a xenophobe terrorist attack. No need of defendant superstars.

They did until he got the not guilty verdict. His fundraising to cover legal fees I believe was then allowed.

This is one of the most disingenuous things I’ve ever read. No sane person is going to believe the guy is being railroaded by police, after what he did…no matter the reason he did it(if mental conditions caused it, that would still mean life in an institution). Your concern is that evidence of a racist and/or Leftist motive will be revealed before the Left can cover it up or think of excuses.

“Don’t want untrue rumors sympathetic to the guy circulating.” LMAO

The media blackout of the Waukesha attack is intentional | Washington Examiner
This says what i think a lot of people on this thread wanted to say, only better.

This is fake news from a fake news source. Contrary to the claims of this garbage article, CNN ran a story on the prosecutor responsible for the low bail. And it wasn’t flattering.

I cant believe you are claiming something as a fake news and then point out CNN as reliable news, who have a proven record of intentionally laying.

I think you missed the point.

its an opinion piece, idk what ‘news’ you wanted to get from this.

There are a few golden nuggets in there for you to think about though… “[John] Chisholm (District Attorney) once admitted in 2007 that his approach might get people hurt. “Is there going to be an individual I divert, or I put into a treatment program, who is going to go out and kill somebody?” he asked. “You bet. It’s guaranteed to happen. It does not invalidate the overall approach.””

It based its opinion on supposed facts.

I’m just thankful that I still get my daily dose of Chris Cuomo Tonight, tonight on CNN, my favorite channel.

The show must go on!

Sounds like it’s a pretty solid opinion to me then :man_shrugging:

Which were already stated in the CNN article.

I’m having a hard time understanding what you’re getting at here. I posted an article that clearly got under your skin for some reason and you’re still going on about it.
I
literally
only
posted
an
article

Did you post it not wanting anyone to comment on it? You do know this is an online forum and not your diary? I could also argue your defense of an article which stated lies is an example of the truth getting under your skin.

i dont care that you’re commenting on it, im simply not understanding what you’re commenting about.

TF am i supposed to say in response to this?

Did you even read the article you posted? If you had, you would know.
