There have been roberies in the area. A week ago the police has been in the area searching for a black robber posibly armed. So the white guys pissed of that a black criminal is terrorising their neihbourhood get armed up.
One sunny day a group of guys see a black dude, definitely not jogging and try to stop him. The black dude seeing no escape attacks the dude with the shotgun and ends up duying.
When you have police defunding and serial criminals released or bailed of prison, this is what happens.
Those white guys were idiots and definitely acted with intent. I believe that verdict was more than just. Also, we have another thread for that case. Keep it there please.
This goes to all on this thread discussing that case
Maybe, but I think the opposite is also true. Too far conservative plenty of other injustices occur.
The problem is that everyone is extra polarized now (thanks social media and in your face confirmation bid) and no one gets past the first layer of thinking (again due to the internet and search engines, it has literally taught people to think like a search engine reading thousands of meta level results without truly diving in to an issue/problem).
No one will compromise at the larger levels of government (state & feds in the US).
It’s almost as if too liberal and too conservative BOTH have their issues. If only there was a nice middle-ground where everyone could be ‘meh’ about the politics going on.
How dare you? You must conform and take a stance that is either far right or far left. But if you choose the wrong one prepare to be cancelled by the other party.
I like it like they do in Switzerland. National referendum on important questions. People there just voted and approved government covid restrictions with a significant majority. That is politics well done.
Have you looked at the proportions of racially profiled murders( or rape for that matter)?
There is a hell of a lot of black on black murder, and black on white murder. In comparison, white on black, or white on white is tiny.
We won’t get equality until either the black perpetrated murders go down, or the white perpetrated murder go up about 80%.
My family from Waukesha hasn’t mentioned any motive declared from the local authorities yet. I think they want all the evidence possible to ensure the case goes off without a hitch.
Talking heads will do what they do and rampantly speculate on anything to generate views.
It’s generally agreed that the guy was fleeing an assault (DV?) scene. Were police actively pursuing him at any point? Was the parade route out of his way, or on his way home/away from the cops? He wasn’t captured for a while after the massacre… So what did he do during that time, ie calls/texts etc? Has he expressed remorse? Has he cooperated or spoken with investigators? Lots of questions, but few to no answers so far.
The cops were no persuing him. The guy just commited a crime and fell invinsible. Just like a serial criminal would feel after the justice system hasnt gor him for life for his past 11 crimes, which include sex trafficing of teenagers.
It does no matter if the road was to his home. There were road blocks or markers that there is a parade.
The rest of the questions are probably easy to answer with a no. The guy is a racist and did an act of terrorism by intentionaly killing white children.
He was fleeing a DV but cops weren’t chasing him (contrary to some news outlet reports). He wasn’t caught for awhile but apparently stopped at a random guys house and asked to use the phone.
Guy at the house let him use it and sent him back outside. Got creeped out when the guy wanted to come back in and I think called the authorities (at least that’s what my family told me).
Supposedly he sobbed in the courtroom during arraignment for the first five victims (seems like a set up for a temporary insanity plea).
I don’t know any more than that. Assuming he has a halfway decent public defender, they have probably advised him to shut up.
I think if we see that he doesnt have a public defender, that he is likely being bankrolled by any institution that agrees with his actions. Should we see a private attorney, it would be reasonable to question his funding.
