He (felon) had no knife in his hand. He (occifer) overreacted. If you can’t discern this from the video, tenderize your reproductive organs with a claw hammer, and then do 100 cartwheels with no hands. [/quote]

Holy shit. Well I hate to say this, but it looks like cold blooded murder to me.
I mean the guy was kind of frantic coming out of there, but I don’t think that’s any good reason to feed em a lead casserole like that. Also is it standard procedure to cuff a corpse?
Anyway I understand why cops go around all tweeked up on paranoia. It’s a dangerous profession. Sometimes it’s bound to result in a situation like this.
The suspect was given verbal commands multiple times.
The suspect did not comply.
The suspect had a deadly weapon (knife).
Officers are trained that is suspect is within 20 feet of you, knife can and so circumstances will beat gun. If they decide to rush you before you can draw and discharge your weapon.
Officers are trained to ‘stop the threat’. If this means 1 shot or 10, it’s besides the fact.
Armchair QB’ing is very easy to those that have never been trained or put in that situation. That’s why the courts use the way a “reasonable officer” acts/percieves/reacts etc. instead of Joe citizen who has a subscription to High Times.
