Definitely non us issued.
OF course it’s photoshop, it amazes me that anyone could think otherwise.
Restless is a dumbass…and the pic is a phoney…
I clearly “missoverestimated” (thanks to president Bush for this new family of words) your inteligence. You actually thought I was passing this picture as real? Kids, don’t believe everything you see on a screen, it’s dangerous, it gets people killed.
Ok, since you people can’t each it, I’ll explain. The picture is a metaphor and simbolises the feelings of the underdeveloped population against the empirialistic developed nations that use, abuse and missuse their ways of life, rights and natural resources. It really wasn’t specifically directed to the US, although it definitely also was, but I understand that your subconcious guilt probably led you to feel implicated.
Jesus, I’m becoming more and more amazed with you people’s lack of reasoning hability. No wonder Bush is getting away with it. To actually think I was passing this as a real photo…
Check your head people, someone is using it for less correct purposes.
Here’s the thing I may have found it comical if you had a adult male or female in Iraqi clothing peeing on a solider funny but this is a child. So to me its sick and distrubing. T
Talk about psuedointellectual tripe. That picture is about as deep a metaphor as the Calvin stickers Jared referenced in his original reply.
?This is so hilarious when you take in consideration that the USA possess shitloads of all of these. Of course you don’t really need to make your labs mobile but still. LOL?
It doesn?t matter that the U.S. develops WMDs or that most of our allies do for that matter. Democracies don?t invade each other, rape and pillage the population, and fill mass graves with their enemies or their own citizens. It?s not so much that these weapons exist in the world but who specifically has them that is cause for concern.
Also, the notion that the U.S. or the Western World exploits the rest of the world is nonsense. I really want to elaborate here but I think I?ll wait for the attack? er reply.

RESTLESS:

-
The feelings of whom, by the way?
-
Use, abuse and missuse their ways of life? Whoah. Like these nations don`t have leaders responsible for that. Last time I checked, trade between nations did not get maintained long term by accident without win-win* conditions by accident.
- I say win-win, therefore excluding short-term scenarios like force driven takeovers, and all potential WW2 in the making scenarios.
If the leader of the nation wants to stockpile the results of the business and treat his people like shit, it is not the other trading nation`s problems.
(Also consider that the dictator, by keeping his people poor, actually keeps the peoples way of life very
traditional` in a way incompatible with progress…Another hole in your interpretation.)
Worse yet, ask these same victim
nations if they want it otherwise, and very few of them will want to desist their bully. Send in the UN and nothing changes. They prefer the state of victimhood to the effort necessary to upgrade living standards nationwide.
So, in short, the picture is all wrong. The people there are really peeing on themselves. They have seen the enemy, and it is themselves. The artist, once again, pictured the wrong Devil
.
Based on your interpretation, it also leads to question why WE should be feel guilty at all looking at this picture…it is flawed, full of unreal assumptions and biased beyond belief. One can`t feel responsible for something out of his control or just plain irrealist with the laws of reality.
LARRYALAVENDER: Same viewpoint here.
"Talk about psuedointellectual tripe. That picture is about as deep a metaphor as the Calvin stickers Jared referenced in his original reply. "
Deep? It was more than most of you could handle, if I go any deeper I wonder what would happen.
RESTLESS: How far can you go constructing an argument if the foundations are shaky?
GOT TRUTH?
“It was one goddamn thing he said in one fucking speech he gave out of a thousand speeches and a thousand things he said. You are the idiot restless. You make no valid points on anything you ever have to say. Where were the questions when Clinton blew up an aspirin factory? Where were the questions when Clinton sent cruise missiles into Iraq? Where were the questions when democrats like Gephardt and Kerry in 98, said that Saddam had been given too much time and all the evidence was there that he had WMD’s? Why dont you admit that this is all political and if Bill Clinton had been president and done the same thing, you would have been all for it.”
With all his defects Cliton was at least a bit more of a diplomat and I suspect he’d actually be a little more concerned with the rest of the world’s opinions. Then again maybe not. I don’t give a fuck about the USA political system, I care about the impact this has on the rest of the world and with the killing of innocents. I won’t admit anything because your supposuitions are all completely wrong. I don’t like Bush because I don’t think any retard should have that much power. I have criticised the USA actions since vietnam and I don’t know and couldn’t care less about which political faction was in power then. There’s nothing political about this.
That last one went in the wrong thread.
"1) The feelings of whom, by the way? "
Not important, let’s say that it pretty much simbolizes what I think about idiots that actually think that killing for the sake of the echonomical concerns of the powers that be a valid occupation. Soldiers are really a necessary evil, but coupled with a to powerfull of a nation and with a population which lost it’s hability to reason and a retarded puppet lider on top of that they become a true menace. I piss on all marines at the Iraq, on the Portuguese military police that’s heading there and anyone that happens to be a part of this. There. This one was a lot more honest.
"2) Use, abuse and missuse their ways of life? Whoah. Like these nations don`t have leaders responsible for that. Last time I checked, trade between nations did not get maintained long term by accident without win-win* conditions by accident.

That’s what you say but for example to me, whenever someone buys something that’s being manufactered by almost slave child labor in the third world knowing about it he has some responsibility. Power also brings extra responsibility otherwise you get something similar to what’s happening to the world right now.
"Based on your interpretation, it also leads to question why WE should be feel guilty at all looking at this picture…it is flawed, full of unreal assumptions and biased beyond belief. One can`t feel responsible for something out of his control or just plain irrealist with the laws of reality. "
I see a little point in this, but not much. One has the power to influence the trend of change over time but first one must at least recognize and admit past mistakes. The USA can not do this because you’re all blinded by your nearly fannatical sense of patriotism. People like Bush and his friends are dangerous voracious greedy creatures and fools that will vote again for them are what makes this all possible.
This is all off topic, war sucks. Period. Anyone that thinks that killing innocents is in ANY way a good think is part of the problem in my book. I can make you a list of innocent casualties caused by the US and believe me, the number has six zeros. There’s plenty of people that are actually entitled to piss on your marines helmets.
"RESTLESS: How far can you go constructing an argument if the foundations are shaky?

Probably longer than you can sustain the lies that justified the illegal ocupation of Iraq.
As someone with Military experience in supporting humanitarian missions, I have a few points to put forth.
-Paul you are correct, this is not an American Soldier.
-Were this picture real, (which it isn’t) that kid would be tugging at that soldiers pantlegs for a candy bar/sunflower seed/sugar packet/trinket of some sort instead of whizzing on his dome.
-Restless, you’re a dick. Plain and simple. I’m interested to see what sort of reply you put in Iscariots “Human Life” thread and weather that reply contradicts the blatant attack on the Military you’ve initiated on THIS thread. This is the sort of thing that pisses me off. I can respect differences of opinion, and even some light ribbing (like your WMD found in Iraq thread) but outright insults such as the one you’ve let spill from your undoubtedly filthy Euro-Trash fingers on this thread are inappropriate, weak, and defining of who you are as a person*.
I take this sort of thing very personally. I’m sure you posted this to get a rise out of US=GG, but you stepped on my toes as well as a lot of others who are Active Duty Military that frequent this forum. I used to consider you a worthy ying to the popular yang, but today you have proved yourself to be as useful as Bigconan once was to these pages.
*I say person because saying “man” would be an inaccurate representation of our sheepish, weak, and cowering forumite Restless.
B.
I think it’s safe to say that I now guaranteed a lifetime first place in US=NF illustrous list. I am a happy man.
