Have anybody else here traded, bought from, or did any business with a latino person that had a friend holding a conversation in your face. Making you wonder if you were getting jipped? Wether spanish or any other language. It hapened to me when I traded Yu-Gi-Oh cards a few years ago.

Okay,… can’t say its happened to me buying Yugio cards. I have never owned Yugio cards. I have only bought Yugio cards for my kids.
However back when I owned a couple of business’ I had Latino customers. I found if I treated them fairly they were extremely nice, and enjoyable repeat customers. Some really went out of their way and did things like bring me watermelons they grew etc.
I really enjoy Latino’s. I have tried to learn Spanglish and do moderately well. They appreciate my efforts even though mi espanol es muy malo.
Learning Spanish will be profitable to you some day. And Latinas are hot.
I know spanish. Try to spell out some stuff or if they swear at you, I’ll try to translate it. If they call you pendejo, then thats not cool.

Horseshit. I took two years of high school Spanish, and worked at a restaurant as a dishwasher with five basically non-english speaking people, and I know only a handful of phrases and little grammar.

I spent less than 7 months in Iraq and picked up a good bit of Arabic. Most of my time was spent around other English-speaking persons.

I recommend Michel Thomas cd set. you could buy, or dl it very easily. His aim is to teach you Spanish almost subconsciously. It’s good
