WannaBe’s Last Year Of “DYEL?”

Push ups and chins can go a long way. Pistol squats for legs. They suck ass, but I bet just those three things could maintain pretty well.

Yea gonna be doing those for sure. Hopefully we stay in a hotel and not tent city and I’ll have access to a gym

I worked out in a crappy gym for almost a year. Basically no free weights. This is when I was in college and did an 8 month out of town internship. I wasn’t as developed, but I think I actually think I progressed a bit.

The bummer is it took me awhile to adapt to the crappy machine and develop a routine. For 10 days, I would be pretty sub optimal.

Yea there probably won’t be any progress made, but all I care about is successfully putting things on “pause” and not going backwards lol

I think you could do nothing for 10 days, and after 10 days back in the gym you would be moving the same weights.

I just took a week off though for Covid lol seems like a bad time to take more time off. I doubt we stay all 10 days though. Hell I bet we turn around

Muscle memory is a thing IMO. Even if you do drop some weight or strength it comes back quickly. Some pro BBers take huge amount of time off after a big show. They gain back what they lost quickly.

Yeah you’re definitely not fat :joy:
Looking swole!

10 days off is nothing! A friend of mine got quarantined and had the same fears. Honestly do whatever motivates you. For me it was doing bodyweight WODs. Still works the muscles, and builds cardio and work capacity

Just to be a moderating voice here, I bet you are going to get fat as shit and also at least 5% weaker.

I disagree with the last one. I’m guessing 20%

Worked out tonight. Mostly upper body. Then came back to the hotel and drank. So probably a net zero on this one.

I’m also bloated as fuck and appear to have gained 20lbs. Really sloppy. Looking forward to meal prepping again. I think we are leaving tomorrow, who knows.

Sounda like you’ve just done a successful week long mini bulk, put on 20lbs and are now ready to get back to to it. :+1:

Got back home from storm trip this afternoon. Punctured the fuel tank on my bucket truck about 2 hours from home, then get back to the shop and my personal truck has a puddle of antifreeze under it :roll_eyes:

My back is absolutely TRASHED! I took tomorrow off work to 1. Fix my truck, and 2. Try and see the chiro.

Also weighed myself, down a few lbs even though I look like I’ve gained 20lbs of pure fat. It’s crazy how much lower quality food can change your appearance.

Today sucked, gym sucked even worse. Didn’t log as I don’t want a reminder of today.

Can barley walk from leg day yesterday. Between Covid and working in Texas I think it’s been like two weeks since I worked legs and the doms are horrible.

Pinned my right pec tonight. Legs hurt too bad, ass is sore, and shoulders need a break. Figured that was easy to reach. I’ll let y’all know if my titty falls off, for science.

Edit: apparently leg day was two days ago.

Pinned your pec? What’s that even mean?
