The hang from the bar and the farmer’s walk work your deltoids from a stretched position, which is difficult to achieve with standard shoulder exercises. Both of these movements prepare the deltoids for a greater pump.

Had to skip the last leg portion because I didn’t have time.

Went wake boarding and surfing yesterday. Lower back doesn’t like me lol

Workout went ok, still kinda boring and still don’t really feel like I’ve done anything. Need to be braver and load more than 90 on the dumbbells or switch to my ezcurl bar

Running a marathon and not in a good way.
Had to push the 60 seconds stimulate rest period a little longer. Not a fan. Adjusting my stance is also awkward as I’ve never practiced/used that. Meh

I’m doing good. Still meal prepping and doing my best to eat right and still hitting the gym, well my home gym. I canceled both gym memberships and have been working out at home with the GF. Saves time and money and is more personal vs just sharing the same large crowded space at a normal gym.
On week 5 of building the monolith. Idk what I’ll run next, probably something else from wendler.

Been traveling a lot. Just got back from the great Smokey mountain national park. Camped and hiked and also went hang gliding, which was cool. Headed to the beach this weekend and then two weeks after that headed back out to Utah, gonna do some camping hiking and a little rappelling. Also proposing to my GF while we are out there :crazy_face:

Just been taking a break from here and a couple other “social media” type places. Just trying to simplify life and spend more time actually doing vs reading about it. I’ll be back as an active member soon I’m sure.

We are flying into vegas. Proposing in snow canyon (the photographer picked a good spot, I don’t have the gps coordinates yet though). Won a lottery for the subway in Zion. Doing the “canyoneering” route. Then just gonna wander around southern Utah

Can’t go wrong with Snow Canyon. It is beautiful out there. So many colors. Let me know how the Subway is. I grew up 45 minutes from Zion and never taken the time for that one. My bad.

Out by Zion -
Toquerville Falls - Nice little falls, need high clearance. BLM camping available.

River Rock Roasting - A coffee shop/good pizza place I like.

Smith/Hurricane Mesa, Scenic drive, dirt, but very nice. Also has an abandoned ejection seat test site they used to launch monkeys from. The strip is still there. BLM camping available first 3 miles. Turn off - 37.205490, -113.210428, the road goes north, should show on Google Maps.

Closer to St. George -
Sand Hollow State Park - Nice reservoir with cliff jumping, sand dunes, etc. Do not try to take a normal 4x4 on the dunes in the summer. It is POWDER.

Warner Valley Dino Tracks and Black Mtn Road Petroglyphs (if you are into that sort of thing) - Turn off 37.05923, -113.48439, Head east for dino tracks and south for Petroglyphs, Both easy dirt roads. TONS of dispersed camping and trails out in that area. We always called it the Arizona Strip. You could probably live out there and no one would notice.

Escalante (about 3-4 hour drive, would take you right by Bryce as well if you wanted round 2) -
Go to Kiva Koffeehouse on Highway 12. So good, amazing views. I navigate by coffee shops.

These are off Hole in the Rock Rd. Could go all the way to Powell on dirt with a 4x4 and time.
Camping - 37.68965, -111.49434 - Car okay, busy area, tons of camp spots off this road. Zebra Canyon a fun, short slot off this road.
Camping - 37.58479, -111.41418 - Devils Garden Campground, Dispersed, free last I checked. Down the road from the above

I can keep this going all day.

Well she said yes.
That being the top highlight the rest were:

Subway top down
Angels landing
Peakaboo and spooky gulch
And some other trails I forgot the name of lol

We’ve now seen the mighty 5 together which is cool. I also saw Vegas, which is not cool.

The two biggest down sides are 1. Got sick, 2. I’m out of whack on BBB beefcake. Nothing makes me more angry than not doing Monday workouts on Monday, but it doesn’t matter I guess. Just annoying lol
