Walking Dead Season 3

Fuck Merle dies, he was funny at least. I agree, an episode without Andrea is a relief, even though I think by now this Gov’ thing is dragging way too long without any major event (OK< Merle died). Hope there’s death on the finale, otherwise I’ll quit this shit and stick to New Girl… LOL

Take me to Zombieland!

My daughters have historically hated watching TV with me. Especially Law and Order, 48 hours or Dateline type shows. Have it figured out before the first commercial break.

This time, however, my wizard powers are stymied. I don’t have any predictions except the obvious from the name of the show “Welcome to the Tombs.”

Here: the prison group attempts a bug out or fake a bug out (it doesn’t matter which) and is either (A) forced into the prison tombs by early arrival of the Woodbarians or (B) lures them down into the tombs.

I am confident the prison group will use tomb walkers as a weapon, because that has been the go-to trick of the writers for several episodes (Gov did it, Gov tried to do it, Andrea did it to the Gov, and Merle did it).

The asshole father whose kid just got killed by Merle will die in the prison assault.

That’s it for predictins; here are my guesses:

As for Andrea, she will be tortured and either she or the nerd will kill the Governor – or he’ll do a Darth Vader and spin off into the wilderness to return at some later time. She’ll get really hurt, but limp back to prison group and be accepted. I suspect Tyrese will discover her and be instrumental in freeing her.

As for who dies in the prison group, it’s either the baby, Herschel, or Maggie.

I am leaning towards Herschal because he gave Glenn his blessing, and it’s pretty standard to kill someone after that. Very Biblical, shades of Abraham, Issac. Plus, he slows down the plot (literally) with his busted leg. The nerd from Woodbury will take his place as the doctor, so he’s extra, casting-wise.

The baby is my close second guess, and baby-eaten-in-car-seat imagery has been a go-to shocker for the writers. Besides the obvious vulnerability, what makes this a close second is the poster for this season was “and eye for an eye” with Glenn and the Governor. Well, Michone killed Penny, the Gov’s daughter, so . . . . .

Distant third would be Maggie. As much as I would hate to lose this attracive Jewess from the show, she really is extraneous. Plus, it would give Glenn a personal loss, which he hasn’t had.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I actually think Hershel, blonde daughter, and baby will all die in the attack. The group will lose those and pick back up Andrea and Tyreese + woman and leave the prison.

So do I. I am like 65% it’s Herschal, 30% baby, 5% Maggie.

I do not think the blond daughter will die. Her character is not developed.

Hmm… Actually that’s a very good point. In fact now I’m thinking there’s like no way she will die. They have hinted at weird shit like Carl being into her and that little kiss she gave Rick and not to mention the fact I honestly don’t even know her damn name. There’s a lot of things to play out with her yet.

The show’s modus operandi is to make you get attached to a character and then swiftly kill them. They’ll want to do a lot more with blond daughter first.

^Not only that but she breaks into uplifting song when people are feeling down in the prison…

I surmise probably that Morgan (hopefully) makes a return, to the rescue, this time lugging whatever firearms he has left squirrelled away that Rick didn’t confiscate off his “cleared” psycotic self.

I sure hope Herschel gets his magic shotgun back to do damage in the prison, though Michonne’s katana might not be too handy for CQB.

Because that stopped them from killing Jackie. Or Andrea’s sister. Or Jim. Or Patricia. Or Otis. Or Oscar. Or Axel. Or T-dog.

They don’t seem to mind either having character development and death happen in the same episode (getting Axel’d or T-Dog’d) or simply have the background info revealed after death (Otis-y, also T-dog’d).

LOL

So who’s gonna get T-Dog’d or go out all Otis-y? What’s your predictions?

0% chance they kill the baby. There’s no way Rick will be able to recover from that. I think they will drop a tiny hint about what’s to be expected next season (which hopefully won’t be a Darth Vader like scenario with the Governor as was alluded to by another poster).

I also quite recently had a feeling that the show’s producers may flip the switch' on the show a couple seasons down, as it approaches its natural conclusion with the pieces in place, and do a 15 years later’ with Carl playing the role of Rick, and the baby playing a Kick-ass chick version of Carl.

No one close to Rick will die. The revenge kill belongs to Daryl. I wage he will tear the Governor and Co. a new one.

You might know this already, but in the comic, Lori survived giving birth to the baby. When Woodbury attacked the prison, Lori was killed while holding the baby and fell on top of her, crushing her child to death.

Rick had to deal with that in the written version :expressionless:

The one thing we know is that the gov is going down.

Andrea is too easy a choice and she already failed multiple times so I say no.

Michone will take out a few but she sucks with a gun and really doenst have a solid MO so pass.

Rick again would be too easy. Plus after the baby dies he will be in either survival mode or rage mode so pass.

Maggie/Glenn? Nope.

Solid chance it can be Carl, but i see Carl more so having to babysit his dad during this so pass.

Wont be Daryl, Daryl kills martinez, that is a given.

Tyrese and/or his sister will kill the Gov during the raid and then will join the Rickettes for the escape and road to season 3.

My Dark Horse shocking death is Carol, only because every episode has that moment where you are like, oh i completely forgot about her, she’s still alive?

Oh yeah and Carol has baddassed up a bit from the days when she was with her husband. She can handle herself I bet.

The Governor, without a doubt. It’d be nice if Daryl did it, but he has no way of knowing for certain that the Gov “killed” him, so he doesn’t have that extra motivation.

Beth, almost for sure. Judith, probably. Herschel, unfortunately. If Beth goes, he goes (inspired by the comics), especially knowing that Maggie has Glenn. Tyreese’s sister Sasha, which will somehow fully convince him to join the prison group.

As far as Andrea, I’m starting to be 50/50 whether she dies in the finale or just gets the full brunt of the torture chamber and we’re left wondering her fate until next season.

Also, I think Milton survives and becomes the new leader of Woodbury. Regardless of how the big battle turns out, Woodbury’s still established as some kind of society with civilians and I think he’ll step up and do right by them.

What if he never truly believed she was his? The girls who cared for her would be devastated. Carl is already emotionally dead, so he’d flip but he’d get through it. Rick would be able to get past it.

Good predictions, the only thing I wonder is how Milton and Carl are gonna manage stuff next season… As far as I know it the actor for Milton is playing a cop on another network show and Carl is doing some spy kids esque type movie. Shane also was killed off the show after he took another acting job on some gangster show.

I feel like i just got cheated somehow. Awful, i quit. Im out. Just awful.

Not a good season finale!

That was whoreshit

Pretty mild finale. At least Andrea is no longer around to make bad decisions any more. Sucks the prison is turning into an old age home. Governor went full retard/insane. So much for revenge. Don’t know how his last two men can even trust him at all? If they had any brains, they team up and kill him.

At one point it looked mike Martinez was going to shoot him, then restrained at the last second… It was a pretty weak end but at least it wasn’t horrible, kind of interesting to see whats going to happen next.
