In other news, this happened after this week’s episode in a town 10 minutes from me. “Man Shoots Girlfriend in a Fight Over The Walking Dead.”:
Seems like he said a military virus could’ve caused the outbreak in the show, she said that was a ridiculous idea, so he shot her (in the back, not the head. She survived).
So, that guy is now single?
Cuz, if Andrea dumps the Gov he sounds right up her alley.

Good post as always from Robert. But I still think that Andrea can be awoken from whatever fog she is in and redeam herself by helping the Dixon brothers escape.
This season has turned out to be so much better than last season.
I hope so, because the Andrea from the comics is great. Of course so was the Dale from the comics…
As for this season being better than season 2. I have had bacterial infections that were more fun, and shorter lived than last season.
I cannot remember if this was posted before, but here is a season 2 deleted scene that I really feel should have been aired. I have a hard time understanding why they cut this, and allowed all the suck.

I don’t know if this has been talked about earlier in the thread, but there was an alternate death for Shane which would’ve been much better, in my opinion. In this scene everything happened just like on the aired scene, except Shane was much closer to Rick, pointing his gun at him. So Rick ends up stabbing him, takes the gun from his body, and walks away. As Shane turns into a zombie, Rick points the gun at his head, prepares to pull the trigger and click no bullets in the gun. From there on everything was pretty much the same.

So is this supposed to take place after the CDC thing went down, before Carl getting shot leading to Hershel’s farm? Also, was it intended that the Governor and the Woodbury crew killed the gang and old peeps as some for of build up? Seems like the Gov’s M.O., kill everyone and take weapons.

Nice. Rick apparently had Herschel’s power-up for that scene at the 3 minute mark.
If you watched the post episode preview for the rest of te season, the first scene is The Governor and his baseball bat buddy in the arena full of smoke.
Obvi, the group comes back (or some of them do anyway) on a rescue mission, pops smoke and gets Daryl and Merl out. (Which is why Glenn has his “what is he doing here?!?” moment)
This season has been great and I’m really looking forward to it. I also think Blondie has figured out that the Gov is a whack job and will flee back to the prison.
New black guy seems awesome. I hope he sticks around for a long time.

I missed this, but “baseball bat buddy” is making me think of a bad guy from the comics. I really hope that isn’t the case yet.
I think you will be right.
I lack your faith.

In the comics he is awesome, almost a force of nature with a framing hammer. He was also introduced much earlier. As far as sticking around, I have no idea. At this point the comic is about as much of a spoiler to the TV show as Hamlet is to Sons of Anarchy.

I haven’t read the comics but he seems legit. I liked how he was kicking ass but when that chick was freaking out in the prison he said “his house”, or whatever it was, and took her back away.
