^^ Pretty much.

Not that I can recall. I really don’t think he could, even in the world he lives in and maybe (obviously) even to protect Maggie. This is also why I’m not at all looking forward to seeing him be interrogated next week. He just seems too delicate.
Okay episode yesterday, but I feel like it was kinda just season filler setting up next week and the finale after. I guess it did it’s job at connecting the two groups, but I don’t feel like anything super interesting happened. Gov and Andrea boinked, Michone killed some guys, and Rick is (hopefully) done with the phone and back to business.

My thoughts exactly. I really only got involved for the last 1-2 segments. Next 2 episodes look like they have potential as the two “tribes” appear to be clashing soon.

This show has had one hell of a turnaround. Season 3 has been amazing so far. Sucks that we have to wait til February for the second half though.
I second that!
So does Michonne join Rick’s group, they do need all the help they can get if they expect to duke it out with Woodbury. Next episode looks like a good one. Maggie and Glen seem fucked. Merle does what ever he wants. I’m surprised he hasn’t thought about overthrowing/taking out the Gov yet.
What’s your thoughts on Hershel? I like his character, but once the baby is old enough, how long do you expect him to live? What about the other daughter? I thought someone mentioned that Carl bangs her, so I guess she’s not dying soon? So whose on your bucket list?
The Baby will die. No way the writers can make that work with the condition the group is in. Maybe if they had more stability. Merle will kill the Gov. I just know it. He is the Govs Bitch right now but I think he will kill for Family.
I’m also starting to think the writers don’t like the women on the show to much.

The governor has created a society for people to live and grow in. You guys can accept Michonne going into a zombie infested wasteland instead of just chilling the fuck out for a few weeks and living peacefully for a few months.
I undestand the man is isn’t copmletely sane, but considering the scenario, who is? He’s got Merle in check, he’s got a growing society, food, water, heat, shelter, ammo, and medicine. Fuck it, I give up. Fuck Michonne and her lame katana.

The Governor is gonna get the katana up his ass before things are done. Him going after Michonne instead of letting her leave will be the ultimate cause of his downfall.
I don’t see the Governor taking to much more than what’s between Andrea’s legs, either. She’s too outspoken and strong willed for his tastes.
Good episode. I think this season is the best of all three seasons.
Rick’s group is gonna storm the Gov’s group trying to save glen and Maggie.
The Gov is crazier than Merle and Merle knows it. That is the only reason he keeps Merle in line.
It’s going to be war between Ricks group and the Gov’s group. They are going to attack using the walkers as camouflage. It’s gonna be good and bloody. I can’t wait!

They need a bigger arsenal than what they presently have to take on the Gov.

I remember hearing something about an armory near the prison I think. But I would think they still need more people.

For a head on attack I agree.

No way Rick’s group is dumb enough for a head on attack. Michonne knows what they have in Woodbury, and she’s all about being the silent assassin type.
Sneak in, kill anyone in your way, grab what you need, and get the fuck out.

You’re wrong in that he created a community where people can grow. They can grow only in the way the Gov wants them to grow. If they don’t, then they’ll be “allowed to leave…”
Regardless of how it looks, it’s a facade. There are strong totalitarian/fascist undertones in Woodbury. At least Rick is upfront with his group about what’s going on (not to mention, as of right now, it’s apples to oranges to compare the Prison w. Woodbury).
Michonne saw a glimpse of the lies the Gov tells the people and the strong arm tactics (even before Merle et. al. tried to make her Ice-T in Surviving The Game). That’s why she left because she’s smart enough to realize that Woodbury is a dangerous place where people are just as likely to be “allowed to leave” as “to grow”.

They have to do more than kill anyone who gets in their way. They have to take out the Gov and his closest allies. If they don’t, the Gov will just send a group to hunt Rick’s group.
Once they take out the loyalists, the rest will fall in line. Most of them are followers and easily led. Plus, they have grown soft living in a bubble.
I’m also starting to think the writers don’t like the women on the show to much.
You are a little late to the party on that one, though I think you just forgot that we were all saying the same thing (you included I think) last season. The writers clearly do not like women and think they’re pretty much useless. Michonne and (to a lesser extent) Maggie defy that logic though, so we’ll see.
