Walker Wins Big

The argument is called “entitlement.” When someone is used to having things handed to them there is no amount of logic that can change that mind-set. Like a spoiled child they need to be spanked and put to bed. And that’s just what the voters did to the unions and the democrats on Tuesday. I hope that the message travels far and wide and Obama gets the same treatment!

My assessment had nothing to do with picking winners . If you hurry you can still witness the 10 to one sign ratio . . I just left WI this morning and they were still up. . My fear was you all would like . I did think money would winn. I may go as far to say who ever spends the most Mitt or Barry will win . Almost a sure bet

Unfortunately too many of them were given open access to the vault and are now wondering why it’s empty.

But as per usual all the other locals in those areas will bitch and moan. Then the administrations will go to the people that always make the concessions and we take the hit the hardest.

The bad thing is in places like WI I really can’t have much sympathy for them. As I stated they got greedy and instead of just getting their hand slapped it got slammed in the door.

163 million dollars spent in California did not help Meg Whitman win the Governors race.

WRONG as usual…so dead fucking wrong.

My brother-in-law is a Captain for SkyWest airlines out of Minneapolis…and they live just across the border in Wisconsin (near Lake Mallalieu).

My sister said their ENTIRE TOWN had Walker signs…she looked and could not find a house who did not have one.

Seriously how much acid do you drop before leaving the house? Or did you just assume that nobody on here knows anybody in Wisconsin?

Sheesh, where do they think they live…Chicago?

As a Wisconsinite this outcome depressed me greatly. Sure the unions may have to much power and what have you, but the answer is to take away collective bargaining rights? That’s ridiculous, why don’t we take away all workers rights and child labor laws, I mean with Walker slashing public school funding anyway kids might as well go back to 12 hour days in factories. Also for those of you who think the unions have the big money, Walker ourspent Barrett 10 to 1 with the majority of that coming from out of state donors.

There must be serious reading comprehension issue going on today. Union Thugs or union affiliation is not menntioned anywhere in the blog you linked.

I’m not defending what they did or who they are as they should not have placed any signs on his property without permission. And yes I do agree the property owner had a right to remove the signs.

But for all the conversations on here and people bitching about the hyperbole that goes on with both parties you’d think people would pause for facts before placing blame on any certain group.

Cheer up junior and keep in mind that a frown is only a smile turned upside down. Did that help?

First of all no one mentioned child labor, workers rights, or 12 hour days in factories. If the only arguments that you can muster are pretend I guess your argument isn’t too good huh?

Secondly, what part about the state being out of money don’t you understand? Greedy union members want to keep the status quo, but that cannot happen as there is no money left. Get it junior? Finally, Walker out spent his competition by 7 to 1 not 10 to 1 as you erroneously claim. Do you know the reason for that? It was because across the nation there is an extreme disgust with unions trying to weild power over the common man. Hence, they gave big to Walker and thank God it helped. The money was indeed a big advantage isn’t it? Funny though Obama out spent McCain in 2008 by over 2 to 1 but we heard nothing from the main stream liberal media about how it was all money that god Obama elected. Odd huh? But now that Walker embarrassed the democratic party and the unions the press is crying “it was the money boo hooo…”

LOL…You really don’t know what you’re talking about do you?

NO DEBATE. Walker signs out number the dems 10 to 1 easy. Taken from someone who LIVES in WI and travels through out the state mainly the central and southeast.

Yes I do know what I’m talking about, my point about child labor was that it’s a slippery slope taking away workers rights. I think you don’t really understand the basic premise of a union, it’s so the common man has some say in workplace matters, not just the owners. And your point about Obama outspending McCain is completely irrelevant, the reason I stated Walker outspend Barrett is because so much of the money came from out of state, not the outspending by itself.

[quote]Mtag666 wrote:

Tell me specifically what workers rights were taken away?

And “I think you don’t really understand” good sentence structure.

Why should the common man (as you put it) tell the owners what to do with a business that they own and no doubt worked mighty hard to begin? Tell us all your thoughts on this percieved right.

But you were wrong about the ratio that Walker had over Barrett. In addition to that the only reason you even know about it is because the left wing media was crying in their beer Wednesday morning lamenting yet another union loss. They were looking for reasons that people could do such a thing and they found one, money. But when Obama beat McCain Obama had over a 2-1 money advantage and in key states far greater. Yet, the MSLM was silent. To my point on the Walker race, money was asked for by both sides from all over the country. People sent their money in to the Walker campaign and many chose not to give to the Barrett campaign. All that means is that ALL OVER THE COUNTRY people agreed with Walker.

In other words, you have no point junior.

Now stop being depressed. Go have a milk shake and take Ashley to the dance this Friday night you’ll feel good all over I promise.

i have relatives that live in Milwaukee and Fon Du Lac. They reported the same. They also told me that the fear of reprisal from unions was enormous. Makes me wonder how many would have been up if there had been no fear of reprisal.

I guess it was relatively common to have to get a new Walker sign as they would mysteriously vanish during the night. Must have been some sort of animal that only fed on walker signs.

@Mtag666
as someone who lives in right to work state where unions members are extremely rare, WI has nothing to fear. Its not a slippery slope. Walker wont be marching 7 yo kids off to the factories next fall to work 17 hour shifts, etc. Those sorts of arguments are just ridiculous. Really, if the company is run right, the argument to unionize in the first place is very weak.

The same has happened in San Jose, and in San Diego too.

I think people are now waking up, that Union bribe money has led to a one-sided outcome that is unsustainable. I also think that the other side can have a similar outcome, where corporations can and have bribed those for their own agenda.

“When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”

This is the most true statement of our current political climate.

But hey it’s only money right?
