25 yo male, stopped trt in May after 18 months. last 4 months will wake up 2-3 times a night or find it hard to fall back asleep after a heavy leg day, using sauna, or slightly stressing out. dr recommends Gonadorelin but been reading it’s bs. What do you guys recommend to help me have better sleep? Should I wait it out or try Gonadorelin?
Not unheard of following heavy workouts. Try magnesium, maybe amino acids like tryptophan.
Did you get a rationale for this?
the doc said my testosterone was too low and it’s the reason for my sleep problems, she said gonadorelin would help stimulate LH production to produce more testosterone. But it makes no sense since low testosterone causes sleepiness i thought…Everytime i wake up it’s out of no where and when i feel my pulse it’s fast.
I will try the tryptophan thank you, I’ve been using magnesium glycinate 200mg but I still wake up, do you recommend another formulation?
I used to be able to workout lifting heavy without a problem, but lately now I avoid squats and stuff and settle for machines
I should mention I did PCT from June to end of July with clomid and HCG, but did it incorrectly I think.
Yes, low T can cause poor sleep and poor sleep can cause low T, it’s a double edge sword.
BS, if gonadorelin really did work not only would everyone be raving about it, there would be no need for TRT for secondary hypogonadism.
When HCG got banned the FDA, a lot of T-mills, TRT clinics starting using gonadorelin as a replacement for the HCG to recoup losses in revenue, even though it does nothing for testicular atrophy and if it’s not doing anything for testicular atrophy, than it’s not stimulating the testicles enough to be providing a perceivable benefit.
So whenever you see a doctor prescribing gonadorelin, you know they’re out to lunch!
Quit screwing around with all the BS and get on TRT already!
Tbh I would like to get my natural production back, so I was wondering if I could wait it out or maybe get back on a SERM
I knew there was a reason you weren’t onto your TRT yet, you need to except reality. I went through the same phase, I didn’t want to, except it. Your natural production isn’t coming back without medical intervention.
If you mean getting your natural production back on something like clomid, sure but you may feel like crap even though your number are high.
Clomid blocks neuro-transmitter estrogen, receptors in the brain, pancreas and heart. You don’t want to be on drugs like clomid long term unless you don’t mind being a guinea pig for medical science.
My advice for anyone that wants to use Clomid, get on get off.
yeah im terrified of clomid, I was thinking of enclomiphene. It’s not that I didn’t want to accept reality…. I’ve been led down a wrong path for 4 months. First person I saw said I had anxiety, so i switched doctors and she gave me this crazy talk and said I need gonadorelin. giving the benefit of the doubt i went to a psychiatrist and a pcp and they said it’s all in my head, so I went along with what they said. I also saw a sleep doctor and he said it’s probably sleep apnea, so nobody has really wanted to help me out. I posted labs before on forums and everyone said my levels were fine. I have hcg and clomid on hand, but I haven’t touched them because I don’t know how to dose them and I’ve been worried doing more harm than good on my own… so i’ve been suffering ever since thinking maybe one day it’ll come back naturally. But you are correct in the likelihood of needing medical therapy, I just wish someone like you could have told me sooner
Even if true, your LH is 5.5. Your testicles aren’t doing great.
500mg
thank you, yeah that makes sense, TMI but usually when I do what all guys do home alone, my sleep ends up being worse, or i guess the sauna or lifting heavy heats the body up so my sleep goes to shit like that too
made an appointment with transcend hoping they help out
transcend HRT recommended enclo 25 and hcg for 3 months, worth it?
You’re unlikely to get good results with any therapy that tries to increase LH. Any doctor that’s recommending this course of action is trying to make money selling you stuff or not very well-versed in the endocrine system.
What do you think about enclomiphene?
This is a stretch, you do not know the rationale behind their treatment.
I tend to agree with you here, however LH agonists do have a place, just not a big one.
well they’re prescribing enclo 25mg twice a week and hcg 0.13 twice a week which seems low dose and hgh but it’s expensive, im at least sleeping 5 hours straight now it just sucks i have to toss and turn for the other 3 hours , maybe not doing anything is the best option? idk if messing with this stuff again could do more bad than good
I think it’s a terrible drug with a lot of bad side effects and also blocks neuro transmitter estrogen, receptors in the brain, heart and pancreas, it’s a Frankenstein drug.
It’s a SERM, it’s the blue pill for those that refuse to accept reality.
But what do you recommend to do then after a cycle to “restart” your hpta
enclo and hcg, monitor with a doctor your lab, take supplements, eat healthy, get sleep, workout
