Anyone claiming that yet?
Was just searching through wikipedia, I know, very dubious at times, but it is interesting the number of elections in history have had claims of vote fraud.
1960 presidential election for instance. Fannin County had only 4,895 registered voters, yet 6,138 votes were cast in that county.
In an Angelia County precinct, Kennedy received a higher number of votes than the total number of registered voters in the precinct.
Just interesting, that’s all. We’ve all heard the claims of the 2000 election, are there more?
Another curiosity, just looking at the number of states carried, Clinton’s victory over Bush was more decisive than this past one, state by state. Curiously, Bush’s state count over Gore was way higher than this past one

Look at who lost the elections in 2000 and 2004.
Now look at who lost the Prop 8 referendum in Cali, and see what they are doing.
The liberal fuckwads can’t believe that they could actually lose, and if they do, they will sue, or blame Bush for cheating.
Liberals are piss poor spoiled brat fucking losers.

This was fucking hilarious after watching the response of “Conservatives” on this board over the last week or so.
Being upset that you lost and bitching about it is one thing. That’s pretty much what people do.
Rioting in the streets, crying foul, and suing the shit out of the opposition because you lost is totally different.
How many lawsuits have been filed by the right? How many were filed by the left in 2000 and 2004?
Have you paid any attention to what is going on in California with respect to the results of Prop 8?

Dude, the last election in 2004 was split right down the middle of this country. I can understand some people making an issue of who actually won when it is that close. Every single vote counts when the margin between them is that small.
That was not the case this time at all so why ignore that?

Actually, many of the state votes were incredibly close.

amazing looking at our presidential election history.
Looking state by state, If I glanced and looked away, I would say that blue prevailed. (McCain)
I would say Bush Kerry was a blow out.
Bush Gore was a blowout, looking at states and county by county.
The system isn’t perfect, but it works.
I wasn’t suggesting voter fraud, but I wouldn’t doubt there was. Both sides. Not sponsored.
Look at 2000.

But the overall was not. [/quote]
I agree that there is no real chance to change any outcome. There is however a large matter of pride always involved, and the popular vote was only about 6%, not a blowout. I’m wondering if we will ever do away with the electoral college.

I think what you posted is a political shift map. So a county gets painted blue if it voted more dem. than it did last election, even if Obama didn’t win it.

ops sorry, missed that.
I think the blue republicans threw me off. =0)
But in a results map like that, it’s always going to be more republican because they win the larger, less populated counties, it is still a biased graphic.

Who is ignoring it? Prop 8 went down by about the same margin as McCain. Why ignore the rioting and suing that is taking place in Cali.
Point being, the left cannot just take a loss bitch about it, and move on. They have to sue and riot, regardless of how badly they lost.
I think what you posted is a political shift map. So a county gets painted blue if it voted more dem. than it did last election, even if Obama didn’t win it.

Take another look. The color code is a little different than what we’re used to. In that map, counties Obama won are red (Commie counties?), counties McCain won are blue. Paints a slightly different picture, doesn’t it?
EDIT: and now I realize that I’m an idiot. This was the 2000 election map.
