Lady gaga has a surprisingly great ass.

Yeah, before the VMA’s i would have passed, but after seeing here there (looks like she put on a bit of healthy weight) i would tap it. From behind though, cause that face is scary when not hidden behind all that make up and weird ass dress. Plus shes got no rack.
But mostly it’s just eww for fucks sakes get off that damn stage you really suck and I’d feel teh same way regardless of who put on that atrocity.

I have to greatly disagree.
If this woman was on stage doing anything…even that…the reception would ahve been much different.
The worst part about this was the tongue. Can anyone explain that? I mean, is it a sexual reference? Is it supposed to be attractive? The best I can come up with is that it’s some sort of lesbian gesture, but that doesn’t really fit in the context.

She’s been sticking out her tongue ever since she was Hannah Montana. The bear face sticking out it’s tongue on her leotard was a reference to her habit and they even alluded to it earlier in the VMAs.
So while we think it looked stupid, it was actually part a a greater self-referential meta-moment.

Aren’t we on a bodybuilding website?
You know, this most frivolous, narcissistic hobby where men pose online and brag with stats and numbers?

Go back to the serious part of the site if you don’t like it!
I absolutely cannot understand the outrage from parents on this because the children saw it. It is their own damn fault because what parent in their right mind lets their child watch the VMAs or MTV for that matter if they are worried about their impressionable nature. When I was a kid we were really only allowed to watch a few channels and I turned out all right. Some sheltering is not necessarily a bad thing. If your kids are exposed to a lot of adult stuff by the time they are 14 for the sake of making them more wordly, I would venture to say that their psyche is going to be more screwed up than most.
I don’t really blame Disney, I blame the internet and stupid parents who really cant see the danger in giving their 8 year old an Ipad and turning them loose with it. There is way to much sick crap floating around out there to do that.
Lastly, if your daughter ever feels the need to hop up on stage and act like Miley, or do what Miley did in a club wearing that, or strip, then you probably failed as a parent.

As a side note, did anyone feel like they were in like a pedophile’s fantasy world when they watched that, with all the random teddy bears and crap. It was just bizarre. Who thought that was a good idea??

Parents shouldn’t be outraged because they chose to let their children watch it. What right to outrage do they really have if they allow that to be watched.
The Side note was irrelevant to the previous topic. I am fully aware that MTV has a large audience that is preteen and young teen and the teddy bear thing might amuse them, but again parents fault they were watching and it still doesn’t change the fact that I am pretty sure the majority of the viewers not interested in 10 year old girls that night did not find that amusing.

They may have done it…so we would talk about it now…because no one gave a shit about VMA’s until this.

You understand that society is largely composed of other people’s kids right? That society effects all of us, whether you want to admit it or not? And that your children have friends who may not be so sheltered as to have their TV strictly monitored at say, age 12?

You can only use that so much though.
Do you realize how socially stunted I was as a preacher’s kid in the 80’s-90’s having not heard a rap song with worse lyrics than “Doing the butt”?
I didn’t hear an Ez-E song until I was in high school and that was when he was both not alive and not selling that many records.
It wasn’t allowed in the house…so no need to manage my music when none of had a resitriction label.
When I could drive, I found out about this shit on my own…but parents own the responsibilty here. Your kid’s friends don’t mean they see this at home.

10 millions viewers, not to mention people who DVR’d it.
12 million in 2011…
This year’s broadcast is also currently the no. 1 cable entertainment telecast of the year among the P12-34 rating, MTV’s key demographic.
Less people than that live in Sweden…
I don’t think “no one gave a shit” is accurate.
There is more:
â??Itâ??s the highest level of revenue weâ??ve ever produced for a show," says Jeff Lucas, head of sales for Viacom Media Networksâ?? Music & Entertainment, Advertising Sales & Marketing group, who also noted last year’s impressive social media numbers as part of the reason behind this year’s sponsorship gains.
Down play the magnitude of the audience this reaches all you want…
