If given the choice, I’d rather see a good actor than a big guy who can’t act.
And anyone who thinks a big guy who can’t act can pull off a great movie is wrong. Not even Arnold is an example of this. Every movie he’s made that relies on him being a good actor has BOMBED, or has done pretty poorly.
In the Terminator movies he had to act completely emotionless . . . not too hard.
In all his other movies that did well, he was just being himself and cracking jokes and chewing scenery. That’s what makes him such a fantastic movie star.
I think the best solution would be to just pick a good actor, get him training hard, make him eat lots of food, and then eventually get him on a great steroid cycle. After all, there’s only so much time to prepare for a role.

well, the good news is that if they ever decide to feature Blob in a movie we have plenty of fat people to go around.
LOL. It’s funny because it’s true.
Nah, they’ll just get some skinny guy and have him wear a fat suit.

Maybe that’s why he got away with his real-life terminating…
I am sure that there is more to screen acting (temprement, stagecraft and the like) than many of us reckon on.
Frankly most BB would not have the time to get good enough,
Oleg Taktarov (of FC fighter) made his way into films…and is wuite good. but it would have taken time to develop as an actor.
theres no human on the planet that could play juggernaut… . theyd be better off doing cgi like they did for the hulk… . size wise I think juggernaut looks a little larger than the hulk in the comics. …

I’m sure you meant to type Branch Warren.
For everyone out there: yeah, his parents turned up at the hospital and thought “we’ll name our kid…Branch, like the tree.” What’s wrong with you Texans, Prof?
As I side note, the dude is only 5’9", so maybe a bit short, but hell, at 240 lbs contest weight he’s a lot closer than Vinnie&latex will ever be.
Does anyone think it’s a bit too much to have 2 Prof. Xs on the same thread?
What with them having similar powers and all, it gets a bit confusing.

Didn`t his power come from the Crimson Bands of Gammorah (or whatever name it was)? 15+ years back for me too.
Correct.

Feel free to correct me. My extent of X-men knowledge is derived from a cartoon and a few comic books about 15 years ago.
Oh boy, Here I go threatening Xen Nova’s Supreme geekness! Juggernaut is a mutant. He wears a metal helmet to keep his brother (Professor X) out of his mind. The prof keeps him calm and non threatening, something he doesn’t particluarly enjoy.
The fact that nothing can stop the Juggernaut makes him a mutant. That is, unless he calms down.
Juggernaut is not I repeat NOT a mutant he was given the mystical strengh of the living Juggernaut by the bands of Cytterack although in the movie I believe he will be a mutant and I persenly think he looks like an extra from those queer ass gladiator movies of the 50’s and 60’s

Agreed. I think they could have done better all around.
Uh oh, I just agreed with you. Does this mean I just kissed your ass?

It was the Ruby of Cyttorak that turned Cain Marko into the Juggernaut.
That is all.
(

yeah i was disappointed on juggernaut’s character too here’s a guy who’s 6’10 900 lbs and by the way can get bigger. He got his powers (mystic in origin) from a ruby (bands of the cyttorak).
He doesn’t need to eat, breathe or sleep and the reason he wears the helmet is because thats the only way you can beat him (telepathy) so it shielded him from telepaths i.e. his half brother Prof x and jean grey,
You can’t beat him physically and once he start walking in a certain direction nothing can stop him…thus the name Juggernaut This is what i remember
Someone in this thread pointed out that X-3 will be the final chapter of the X-Men movies. I thought I read somewhere that this was only the final chapter of a 3-part story arc and that future movies based on the X-Men universe were in the works. So which is it? Id love to see a move with Apocalypse as the lead villian.
please move on fellas, its starting to smell like a star-treck convention with everyone being so anal regarding a character from a comic. Stop the ranting!!!
I’d go with Lattimer. I heard he’s done some acting.

Hulk’s supposed to be 6-2 1000, except in his gray form…
I think juggernaut juices.
BJ said something about being signed for x men 4 and 5

I think juggernaut lacks functional strength; there’s no way he can do an iron cross.
Am I allowed to call TSB on myself?
