Lawl… I seem to have a talent for doing it. I was getting 4 and 5 replies a time to every one post I put up on an Irish website not too long back!!

And Meat, I can appreciate that, but when you’re ONLY posting so people can see your sponsor then it ceases to become helpful/nice/positive and instead becomes just simple straight up advertising.

For example I haven’t seen you reply to every post on PLwatch with a generic reply just so you could say you were sponsored. I have seen you spent quite a bit of time constructing posts to help others and only putting a link down the bottom after all of that tho. There’s a pretty big difference there in my opinion.[/quote]

i don’t post much at all anymore because there’s way too much talk and too few people actually getting out and doing. I used to post my train wreck stories from the gym in the Squat Rack Curls thread but i’ve realized that most people will never get it. I think most people would just prefer to argue about if someone should gain fat or not to get big or if some stupid Hammer strength machine is superior to free weights. Now i just train hard and jump in if someone has a specific question that will actually make them better at this iron sport. I try to only say things that will help people instead of just adding to the haters that will never be anything other than an internet wannabe. And for the record, i don’t think you are one of them, just remember that people do all sorts of things to get ahead in life. Don’t knock them for it… you are a bigger person than that.

Hey guys!

Stay strong!

His point was you whore yourself around the internet posting drivel on every powerlifting website just so you can say “SPONSORED BY INZER ADVANCE DESIGNS” and mention how great Inzer is in every post.

And lets not forget your avatar, and your videos, where even the wallpaper is made by Inzer…

Want more examples? go to any topic on PLwatch and there’s a comment from you;

"Hey congratulations on your [INSERT THREAD TITLE HERE]

Train Hard
BIG WILL JT HALL
Sponsored by;
Inzer
etc
etc"

as a fellow sponsored athlete you may not realize that as part of his sponsorship, he is probably required to post - “Sponsored by Inzer” and to tell everyone what equipment he uses. Also, being sponsored you are required to get your name out there and to post as much as possible. Each sponsor is looking to get as much advertisement for their product as possible and in return they pay you for different things. Big Will is doing an awesome job of getting his name out there as well as Inzer’s. He is also a very positive person. I like his attitude towards lifting.

I’m required by my sponsor to video my PR attempts and new movements as well as post as much as i feel comfortable with. Doing so, I have my share of haters each day replying to my videos or my posts at times. It’s really hard to stay positive about the bullshit. Especially when i know that these same people would never have the balls to say those things to my face.

I’ve always enjoyed your posts Hanley but remember that this sport has very few perks and when one of us is lucky enough to get a sponsor, we need to do certain things to keep it. It doesn’t make us a whore.

You brought up a great point and thanks for posting this. Several lifters just don’t understand my post. I can still remember when I first started competing and lifters would talk & post about their sponsors. I realize that if I ever get a sponsor, I’m going to do the same thing, but a lot more. So, I just enjoy promoting my sponsors and helping other lifters.

Thanks for the positive comments.

I was going to point this out, but I’ve only been on the T-Nation forums and I noticed that no one in this thread really asked him about his nutrition or training. So I didn’t want to state facts which I have no basis, but if you see the same thing in other forums then it does take away from his integraty.

Hopefully next time he can post a video, along with maybe a description of how long it took him between PR’s, or what road blocks he overcame, or even describe how Inzer helped him. SOMETHING.

@Meat I know the internet flames alot but I’m sure theres some people who appreciate your advice and take it for what it is.

I enjoy supporting a great company that supports the whole Powerlifting Community. Inzer sponsors several powerlifting meets throughout the USA.

Hanley is just another one of my hating fans(lol). I’m use to it & laughing all the way to the bank!!

Please clarify how I am hating. I already said you’re strong.

Does being an Inzer Spokesman pay well?? It must do if you’re laughing all the way to the bank.

I see on the AtLarge page you’re a sponsored powerlifter. When was the last powerlifting competition you did?

Hating is when a lifter talks negative towards another lifter or tries to bring another lifter down. Seems like you are hating to me.

Lets talk serious for a minute!!!

If I met you at a meet and you needed help with you equipment, I’ll be eager to help you, regardless of your negative comments. I hope you would do the same for me.

I have competed in 10 different federations in 11 different states, at each meet all the lifters are always supporting and helping each other. The lifters are cheering each competitor on and the audience is too. A vast majority of competitors are always supporting there fellow man, only a small percentage attack other lifters on line. So, this is why I like being on the bp platform because it’s the “real world”. It’s easy to take a negative shot at another lifter on line, but it won’t happen on the bp platform!!! Nothing positive comes from internet negative commnents.

Name me one meet director that would allow allow negative attacks or hating at a bp meet? I’m on the Executive Committee & a states record chairman, it would never happen in my fed! One lifter did try it and is banned for life!!

Oh I think everyone already knows about NASA’s “no criticism” approach unless you’re part of a very exclusive clique. But hey… if you want to run a fed of good vibes then work away. Who am I to criticise.

When was that last powerlifting meet again?

What did they say at the bank when you tried to deposit a bench shirt?

NASA is not the only federation that has a code of conduct behavior for its lifters! NASA code of conduct behavior is in the rule book & on the web site too.

MY 2008 BP MEETS:

March NASA PRO POWERSPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP(over $18,000.00 cash give away)

June 22 NASA USA NATIONALS

July 12 NASA WV OPEN

August 31 USAPL BP NATIONALS

Nov 8 NASA 100% DRUG TESTED NATIONALS

Also, I load/spot/judge/ two entire meets in May & in Oct.

I woulda said NASA is the only federation that tries to surpress it’s lifters from expressing opinions.

And I said POWERLIFTING, you know - Squat, bench and deadlift.

Not “bench only”.

You are just had accountable for your actions in NASA! IPF is the only federation that suspends lifter from competing in other federation World meets. Another federation bans lifters if you compete against a suspended lifter. Otherwords, if you don’t like the rules, go compete somewhere else!!!

I only compete in bp meets only. I guess you didn’t look @ my youtube video(lol).

yo hanley… good job calling this buffoon out, but you’re missing one of the funniest angles of the whole thing. he’s not even sponsored by inzer, he’s just a wanna be.

inzer no longer sponsors people who compete in raw meets and he does mostly raw meets. they’ve threatened to pull the sponsorship of far better lifters than “little willie” for competing in raw meets, believe me they’re not making exceptions for a bench “specialist” who can’t even bench 600 in equipment.

i can’t tell you why he acts like he’s sponsored by inzer, i can’t really explain any of his other behavior either, other than to point out the obvious and say that he’s mentally defective. maybe it makes him feel important to have people think he’s sponsored by them, i don’t know. the guy’s got a screw loose though, that much is certain.

if that’s true, it’s hilarious
