Velocity Diet - Starting - 5.13.2023

The camera and I don’t ever get along, lol. Even when I’m in great shape (which used to be my norm, actually) my eyes are always closed, or I’m in the middle of eating something, or I’m doing something and it’s blurry, etc. Good luck with the program. I hope we both get the results we are looking for!

Day 12: all the shakes plus bench workout. I’m struggling to keep my weights light and only go up 5 -10 pounds per week. Really don’t wanna hurt something, but miss moving more substantial weight around.

Day 26 v diet.
Down 12 pounds since I started
I had my yearly physical at the drs office
My blood pressure is 126 over 78! I am so very excited about that. I have had very high blood pressure for almost a year.
It came right down.

Just thought I would share that.
Feeling good.
Looking forward to changing my eating habits permanently etc.

Kind of a plateau with weight loss etc.
Still sciatic.
But okay.
Good workout yesterday.
Mobility and stretching
Have to do that all the time BEFORE the main deal etc. Very important for me.
KB’s loaded carry’s.
Kb half kneeling presses
Goblin curls
Goblet squats.
Seated military presses
Loaded carry’s with dumbbells supersetted
With alternating dumbbell curls
Assisted dips.
Etc

Day 27 v diet.
Doing well.
I like not eating lunch, during work and just shakes - curcumin and fish oil before I eat. It’s good for me.

end of v diet - it was worth it - that is fer sure. it helped me lose 13 lbs in a month and more importantly it gave me the education of looking at ones-self. i learned a lot about weight loss and my diet…
just for me btw - here is what i learned about my past eating history:
i was a carb addict - especially white flours and sugars
i ate too much!
i ate too much!
i ate too much!
exercise daily is so important - no matter what it is. for me being in my 50’s it doesn’t matter what i do as long as it is super active…
and a proper diet should last a lifetime - no doubt.

what I am going to do -
Paleo kind of thing and yes - that damn carnivore diet is great!
for me though mixed with intermittent fasting and fruits and vegetables is a big deal for me…
also - carbs are pretty bad for me - fats are good, its satiates me and fills me up - -without the carbs etc…
anyways, that’s all i got!
be well and thank you!
I will keep on logging…

And yes… you can make fun of my video if you want. I don’t think I am a stud or a super dude. I am just psyched that I lost a few pounds and changed my eating habits. Plus and it is a big one - The Beastie Boys, were awesome back in the day!

Great discipline! Nice work, man.

Haha, I’m the opposite man. I used to be seriously underweight, got to a good weight but that skinny guy inside me still says not to wear black because it makes me look smaller. Thankfully that’s been changing recently though.

Great job dude! 13lbs in a month is awesome.
