Velocity Diet Help

I am starting the V-diet on monday and i ordered 9lbs of whey, and 2lbs of casein; by the way i also got some flax mill seeds and flax oil capsules and HOT-ROX.

My question is could i supplement one of my shakes for a can of tuna or chicken if i can handle all the shakes. The first week i will try to do all shakes and fats. Also is anything wrong with adding pb to some shakes . Also i am not taking Surge.

How about you try the Velocity Diet instead?

uhhh i believe this deserves a ROFL

Yea, I agree. V-diet isn’t that tough im 3 weeks in to it and i’m not dead. You certainly can try it “your way” but if you want the results everyone else is getting, suck it up.

The reason why i say cant handle the shakes is because its very pricey to be drinking all the shakes.

How do you feel about 1-2 shakes a day having a tablespoon natty pb in it.

Sure its expensive but as Chris has already said you have no grocery bill for the next 4 weeks so it basically balances out.

I think the total is around $400 for the whole month. If you were trying to replace the shakes with clean foods to keep the same macronutrients (i.e. lots of chicken, steak, etc.) you would probably be spending $100 bucks a week anyway.

LOL!

OP, have you read any of the several articles about the Velocity Diet, including the current one on the home page (which includes links to the other ones)? What you are doing is NOT the Velocity Diet. I can only imagine what posts like yours do to Shugart’s brain!

$400 for the month? I don’t think it’s quite that much is it? I’ve done the diet before and I don’t recall spending that much.

Has anyone tried replacing one of the scoops of Metabolic Drive with Grow Whey for each shake? That may help stretch the more expensive Low-Carb Metabolic.

The Metabolic Drive alone costs $312 if you use 12 containers. Then $42 for the HRX if you only buy one (but that will only get you through the diet and many have suggested staying on the HRX a little longer while you transition of the diet). Then 1.5 bottles of Flameout for another $38 and a bottle of Surge for $30.

Note: I forget what I paid for Flax Seed and additional fish oil caps. So it is actually closer to $450.

The PB is actually ok, just don’t overdo it. Other than that stop complaining about not being able to afford it. That argument is getting old. To paraphrase Shugs- Either do the diet the fucking way I wrote it or go jump in front of goddamn a bus.

(again that was just a paraphrase)

I am 17 years old and work at a fast food place. Even thou i live with my parents i have to pay for insurance and rent(dont ask). I am going to try this diet without all the branded supps. I think all of you are complete dumbasses and are just being bought into buying all this crap.

I’m also 17 years old and thus I’m not rich either, but you can do the diet. Follow the diet exactly, but supplement with a lower priced protein and instead of Surge use chocolate milk.

One thing that I suggest you do is look into starting a small business instead of working for shit pay. I have a friend who paints houses independently and he makes serious money. Personally I’m good with computers, so I have a small business doing computer repair, upgrades, and such.

If you buy a printer, print out flyers for your business, and then return the printer the only money you lose is on the paper and you’re guaranteed to get at least 5 jobs off of 500 flyers. Pick a skill of yours and capitalize on it.

Anyway follow the diet as closely as possible and if you have to use different supplements, replace like with like. So a shake with a different cheaper shake, not tuna fish.

If you can’t afford the diet with even the lesser products I suggest you just pass on it and follow the t-dawg diet.I am starting this diet monday with my friend, and I used mostly Biotest supplements, but he managed to get all the right stuff for about $110.

But that’s for “more than” a month.

I did the 1/2 Grow! Whey protein, 1/2 Metabolic Drive and it went fine.

Chris even suggested this for those who wanted to save a little money.

If anyone wants to make ANY change to the diet, only do so if you read that Chris said it was fine, or ask Chris himself.

Otherwise, don’t make the change. It won’t be the Velocity Diet then, and the Velocity Diet works great!

I couldn’t afford all of the supplements at once either. I bought half and started it, then bought the other half when I got paid 2 weeks later and I got the second batch with plenty of time to do it without stopping.

If it’s that bad, then just save up and start the V-Diet a little later. It will be worth it, and it’s not really that much more expensive than eating whole food for a month, considering the quality/quantity of meat you’d have to eat to get that much protein.

If you use the Whey for half of the shakes, it probably becomes cheaper than eating whole food.

Let me know what supplements you’re going to buy that will actually be cheaper, and would even come close to comparing.

We save a lot of money with these supplements by buying them from this site. Other supplements that come close to this quality are much more expensive.

Oh, never mind. You’re 17, you already know everything.

Good luck with your own made up diet, and let us know if it works.

Do you have a name for that diet yet?

12 X $25.99= $311.88, and qualifies for free shipping as well.

Where did you get that a bottle of Metabolic Drive costs $75?

Oh, I just saw you’re from Australia.

Is the shipping really that bad?

You can label a Trabant a “Ferrari for Peeps On A Budget” but that doesn’t mean it’s actually anything like a Ferrari.

I don’t know what a Trabant is, but that’s some funny shit right there.

As to the OP- why are you even asking all of us “dumbasses” advice anyway? Most 17-year-olds I know already know everything and are the first to point that out. It’s only when you reach your early twenties that you will realize you don’t even know 2% of what you think you know and even less of what you should know.

If you want to do the diet some half-assed way expect half-assed results.
