A bunch of Abercrombie models turned soldiers because they’re pissed about losing cell phone service… I think I’ll pass.

I’m pumped for this one for sure!
That First one looks like my kind of movie. I read the book so I’ll definetly check it out.
I have to find The Thirteenth Warrior and watch it again after seeng this trailer lol.
Whenever I read a book or see a movie that is set in that point in history I think to myself, that has got to be the roughest time to be alive. You were probably used up by the time you were forty.
edit/Was that Brian Bosworth I saw?
Wol will be pleased to see that the black guy get’s it lol.

Don’t get your hopes, I’ve seen it and it was kind of boring but on the bright side it has some pretty hardcore beat downs.

If you like that sort of movie you gotta read some of David Gemmel books. “Druss The Legend” series would be a good start imo. He uses the same formula for all his books but it never gets old for some reason.

This^
I was physched in waiting for valhalla rising.
Hated it.Depressing film. Yeah one eye was badass, just could not get into the film , no narrative, lousy action very sparadic,I know it wasnt going to be like matrix style.
Dont know why people think there is vikings in it cause theres not. Just scottish highlanders/tramps with bad acting walking in mud and shit.
The scenery and some shots are breathtaking, Do yourself a favour and watch golf if thats what your into.

Damn, OK so another DVD I will watch. Damn I miss good epic movies like this. Guess I will have to keep on waiting.
You should read “eaters of the dead” by Micheal Chrichdon.
it’s what they based ‘the 13th warrior’ on, and is a great story.
But then again, I have an affinity for Viking Lore.

And four60, 13th Warrior is one of my favorite movies.
“Lo there do I see my father. Lo there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers. Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me, they bid me take my place among them, in the Halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live…forever.”
And have to agree with Edgy. “Eaters of the Dead” is a great book.

EDIT

Yeah. I loved the way Buliwyf knows he’s going to die and says fuck it, goes out kicks ass, and then sits down on that throne and dies still clutching his sword, eyes wide open. For all the idiots out there who like to say FTW after every little post they put on this site like they have half the balls a 1%er has, THAT is FTW.
