Heard on the radio that they found a shell casing inside the bathroom now that apparently the forensics team had missed. If that’s true then he would have been inside the bathroom for at least one of the shots meaning he could see he was shooting her.

It should be relatively easy for them to figure that out based on the number of bullet holes in the door vs the number of bullet holes in the victim/walls inside + the trajectory of the rounds.
A casing could easily have been kicked (lol) inside the bathroom by Mr Bladerunner when he eventually entered.
Also, the media/news/radio doesn’t always/have to tell the truth. They can make up whatever they want really. They’re all about getting viewers/readers/listeners so that they can make money by selling ads. They’re a business.

Are there greatly varying levels of violence in South Africa? I have relatives who live there and they don’t portray it like this at all. I believe they live in a more rural area and go to private schools and such though.

my point is that while crime is high, his paranoia and claims of a burglar are IN MY OPINION massively downgraded by the fact he took HUGE measures to make his house safe.
to those saying that:
-burglars still get in
-the guards will rob him
-his neighbours will rob him
a little perspective needs to be had, why would a massively rich guy put himself at this supposed level of risk rather than move to another country.
