Valentine's Day Murder

He almost accidentally shot a friend in a restaurant a month earlier.
Maybe the gun caught in his trousers and accidentally went off 4 times…

STEROIDS.

The media are going to bugger him senseless now.

That asshole should never have been allowed to compete in the Olympics in the first place.
His winning, his overblown ego, and a feeling of entitlement seem to have turned him into a spoiled brat who expected everything to go his way.

Looks like he created his own destiny, the fucker.
Sadly, someone had to die to fulfill it.

don’t confuse personality with achievements

what he achieved was incredible

what he subsequently did was horrible

a lot of medical advancements we made were because of unimaginable acts of cruelty towards other human beings, does this mean we should stop using these discoveries because of the way they were discovered?

What he achieved was incredible? He had blades for feet. It’s not a level playing field for other competitors. In the same way you can regard him as handicapped for what he doesn’t have, I can contrast that with his advantages over those athletes who don’t have his advantages.

Your last statement has nothing to do with my initial post.

Do you remember this? That was enough for me to know that asshole wasn’t such the great guy he appeared to be.

Exactly.

Does seem to come off as a bit of a Dick. Athletes at that level do seem to run a fine line of being super competitive and total dicks

well he ran against others with the same handicaps and won. I’d like to disagree on the level playing field but that’s my opinion.

Either way losing your legs and still continuing to fight to achieve something is admirable in my books

how many people have zero problems and become obese sacks of shit.

My last statement was in reference as to him being a dick has nothing to do what he achieved same way that the evil people who made great medical discoveries have no bearing on the significance of the discovery.

I did agree with your last statement, and can cite countless examples, but it really had nothing to do with my original post.

he is officially claiming he shot her thinking she was an intruder

the most ridiculous aspect in my opinion is he is claiming he got up and shot the door multiple times, then looked around at his bed and thought oh fuck my girlfriend is not there maybe ive just shot her.

come on! as if you would wake up in bed and rather than check it is not the person lying down next to you who has got up you would get a gun and shoot at the noise lol.

Just a question to people that live with only one other person in the house. How many of you close the bedroom door to sleep?

It just sounds odd, maybe it’s just me

He killed her in cold blood. He should stop with those crocodile tears.

Neighbours have stated they heard shouting(arguments) and the cops were even called a few hours before he blew her head up. She ran to the bathroom and locked the door to escape him.

I can’t wait for him to be fucking raped in jail, without his fucking legs. Fucking Cunt.

It does mean that, and we have in the past. Refer to concentration camp experiments on twins for more information on the subject. Research was destroyed because of the inhumanity of the experiments.

Positive ends do not justify unethical means. I’m sorry you feel that they do.

I don’t feel that they do, quite the contrary. But I also think there is no point in allowing the lost lives to be in vain, at least extract the useful knowledge

this is just your opinion and not fact, sounds like typical arrogant patronising left wing BS.

You have your directions mixed up.

Conservatives tend to be more moral absolutists, and leftest tend to be the relavtivests. Or at least that is how it is portrayed by “the narrative”.

I woudn’t be surprised if the distribution was normal.

But I’ll tell ya what, Alinski sure wasn’t a conservative.

She WAS apparently in the bed when he got up to close the balcony door, and then heard something in the bathroom.

I wouldn’t point fingers. Unless you are a South African (as I am), it is difficult to understand the level of tension people live under as a result of the extremely high level of senseless deadly crime, which has touched pretty much every single family multiple times. It is common for even unresisting and cooperating victims to be killed by thieves for a wallet. Why? Just because. When one home invasion-murder occurred in Connecticut a couple of years ago it was national news for weeks in the U.S., while in South Africa there are multiple cases of such senseless home invasion-murders in the news every week - you’re just lucky if the robbers don’t torture or rape you before they kill you. For this reason, some people live on a hair trigger, and it is not uncommon for family members or friends to be accidentally shot by people trying to defend themselves after being mistaken for intruders.

It is an extremely tragic story, and I feel extremely sorry for her family, but also for him. Assuming his story is truthful, at 26 his life is ruined because of an understandable mistake. It will be a long time before he will experience happiness again, if ever.
