Using Injectables

Hello all. I have been using orals, and I go to a clinic to get my TRT shots, so I have never used a needle. I want to switch to injectables, but I’m not sure how to read the barrels. If I have a 3ml barrel, how much of the substance should I load? Also, what size do you need to use for drawing and injection?

You first need to tell us the concentration of the test and how much per shot you are taking.

Questions to ask and verify with provider.

  1. What’s my dosage and frequency? Dose is in milligrams of Testosterone and frequency to inject is in days or weeks. The best long ester protocol IMO is pinning twice a week or e3.5 days.
  2. What’s the concentration of my prescription? It will say on your vial but it’s typically 200mg/ml. Your script should also tell you how many milliliters to inject, thereby doing the math for you.
  3. Math time… if you know how many mg your desiring/prescribed and how many mg/ml your vial is you calculate the volume. For example if you desire a 100mg draw and your concentration is 200mg/1ml your equation would be 100mg x 1ml/200mg = .5ml to draw.

Glute 23ga 1” or 1.5”. Delts and virtually anywhere else 25ga 5/8” if your meaty or 27ga if you’re a puss with pins.
