You should.

Try to find a USAW coach or club in your area. I know our club has been to meets over in Pittsburgh several time.

Robert Murphy headed up.

Atreides,

Do you know how Matt Bruce did in the 77k class?

That?s it for now. I?ve got some more photos of Chad and Innocent ready and I will post those later. I try to go back through and pick out some shots of Oscar. I took over 300 shots, it is a lot of photos to pick through.

I will say this, the men?s 85 kg was very, very competitive. Of 14 athletes, 3 bombed.
For the snatch, only 2 athletes went 3/3. All told, there were 19 missed attempts. For the clean and jerk only 1 athlete went 3/3. There were 24 missed attempts. In fact, of all the 3rd attempts, only 3 got the white lights.

As you can tell there was plenty of red ink to go around, including the winners.
Chad was 3 of 6 for the day.
Innocent was 4 of 6 for the day.
Oscar was 3 of 6 for the day.

Matt went 6/6 and took 2nd place to Lance Frye.

Lance Frye totaled 330
Matt Bruce totaled 322.5
Greg Schouten totaled 310

There was some real drama here as Lance took his 3rd attempt for Clean and Jerk. Lance had missed his first two attempts at 180 and made his 3rd and only succesful attempt for C & J. He was either going to bomb or take First Place.
