US Presidential Election Predictions

Trump stated that the only way he’d lose the election is if the vote was rigged: https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/512424-trump-the-only-way-we-are-going-to-lose-this-election-is-if-the

So he’s just following through with what he said he’d do. I’m still waiting for him to sort out the rampant fraud in the 2016 election though. He did say that he actually won the popular vote in 16’: Trump wrongly blames fraud for loss of popular vote | AP News

So does he finish sorting through the 16’ fraud first that cost him the popular vote, or skip to the current rigged election? I think he should definitely sort out one of those two things first before he moves onto the fraud that must be costing him the current popular vote. Surely it’s fraud that’s showing more Americans want Joe Biden to be President than Trump!

In other news, how mad is Trump at his Post Master General appointee/bigliest donor Dejoy? Dejoy tried, but didn’t f up the mail delivery enough to stop there damn mail in votes! He’s still may be taken to task by a federal judge though: Federal Judge to Force USPS's DeJoy to Explain Mail Voting Problems

Yeah I turned on some conservative talk radio yesterday and was amazed at the hosts talking points: Soros, globalists, voter fraud, etc. It was like an Alex Jones tirade. No evidence, just whining tinfoil hat conspiracy stuff.

There are some Republicans voicing decent though: Christie, DeWine, and Hogan off the top of my head are saying the right things about the process.

You could easily qualify as a bodybuilder given these stats if you have single digit bf%. 5’8, 8%BF and say… 173 lbs equates to an FFMI of almost 25. Everyone seems to think you aren’t a bodybuilder if you aren’t a lean 200+ lbs. Most of the time a truly lean 200+ lbs = being pretty damn big.

I’ve got a bet riding on this election… I’ll be irritated if the person I’ve bet on doesn’t win. That and I believe Donald Trump is an abhorrent individual. I vehemently dislike both the majority of his policies and his character

At this point in time (and prior to the election) it would appear as if Biden is more likely to win. That being said I thought the turnout was going to be a landslide as opposed to a resting on a knifes edge.

I thought this was funny, I’ve seen it done for tea and coffee drinkers, rock climbing etc.

I’m not attacking people on the forum. But it is funny.

“I told Bill Barr to arrest Biden in one of those unmarked minivans! No one listens!”

There’s some very witty lines in it. I love the finishing line and the looks on their faces

This is an example of “postmodernism” btw, for anyone on the “right” who finds it funny.

“Sir, this isn’t how an election works”
“But America is still a democracy”

Those lines got me good

This is how I feel as a center-left. I would have voted for most of the republicans on the stage in the 2016 primary over Hillary, but chose her over Trump. Trump’s behavior and character are absolutely repugnant to me. It’s been a tough 4 years at my house because my husband and I are not aligned on the idea of “integrity first” vs. “party first.” He feels that Trump is full of shit, but “eh, that’s what the law allows for.”

This was hilarious.

The only stat I’m aware of is I know he can curl six Big Macs.

Lol. We’ve got ambitions!

But Hillary!.. :joy:

Maybe Conservatives will start saying really mean things and crying super hard in the hopes that if they say something mean enough, maybe we’ll unseat a duly elected president and push their favorite to the front of the country.

Like the libs did with Hillary.

How will you react is fraud is indeed true? Just curious, since no system is fail safe.
And Trump really doesn’t know how not to speak, before formulating sensible statements.

Well of course it would be a huge issue.

But don’t go into an election months before it starts insisting it will be fraud. Don’t tell people a way that has been done for ballots for years is fraudulent. (especially when that’s how you’ve voted). Don’t say things before the election that aren’t how we do things (it’s illegal to count votes).

Right now it seems like 100% of the messed up parts are coming from Republicans. They are the ones insisting stop counting in states where Trump was ahead and keep counting in behind states. They are the ones only filing lawsuits (even before the election) targeted at Dem counties. Nowhere else to my knowledge.

They have pushed this line of massive voter fraud in previously elections which has no backing so they can attack legal and valid votes.

The President of the United States is saying stop counting votes. If this was Obama it would be pandemonium. But it’s Trump so it’s just “well he says some stuff you know.” It’s counter to everything I thought we did in elections.

If I have to look at a Trump family member for 4 years, She’s definitely my pick!

Frankly I don’t know what to think when I watch us lol. I hadn’t heard this

Well, his form may be ugly as sin but we at least know Jr lifts with some effort.

Yeah I agree. I thought my original electoral map would be the result of a series of close state elections that mostly went toward Biden, leading to an electoral win that would appear lopsided but my really a landslide. Historically most times the electoral college magnified the popular vote difference, in the last couple elections it has actually minimized the difference in pop vote.

RE: ticket splitting I’m not sure…I’m feeling the opposite.

It’s obvious I can’t stand the guy but I will agree here - independent of things I personally perceive as his other shortcomings, this is one of the single biggest things I can’t stand to listen to. I think it’s perfect. “Clickbait speeches” are a thing and it reminds me of internet ads.

Rural vs. urban/professional-voters (that’s the big division now…maybe less so in the past because there were fewer big cities in rural-ish states?)

Except winters dude. Be careful lol

This is what burns me so much. I consider myself a conservative, and it used to stand for something more. A lot more. Its way beyond simply frustrating.

Yep. Norms exist and should be protected for a reason - they are the last check against animal emotions and tantrums. Once they are gone, it’s a race to the bottom.

Yep, and McConnell is saying things about counting every vote. I think there’s some signal there that they don’t want to deal with his shit, otherwise there would be no pushback because they’re mostly spineless.

This is one of the most memed scenes in all of history… And for good reason! There are so many good satires made over this.

I know you asked H, but for me the answer is “mercilessly”. Anyone who deliberately tried to defraud the election can rot in hell. Country over party.

But if fraud is at the level of 600 votes and you need 20,000 to flip a state, well… The criminal can rot but the election is still legitimate.

FYI recounts in various states the past election only came up with a couple hundred votes to flip, which wasn’t NEAR enough.

I’m not anti recount at all. Knock yourself out. 20,000 isn’t typically thought of as recount territory but do it. It’s absolutely the losing candidate’s right.

If Trump wants to pay to recount everywhere I won’t be bothered. But he’s attacking the civil servants who are counting legal elections. I mean that’s obvious dictator behavior. Luckily it seems like some in his party have grown a spine and have taken the very courageous position of les count votes.
