It’s over Johnny. But just one question: when will you take off your mask?
Good doggy.
See, you can’t even answer the question. Your mind is no longer your own.
Atta boy! *patpatpat

You said it. There’s an off chance the hanging chad debacle of 2000 comes back with a vengeance and in a new guise for round two.
That’s always dangerous. I predicted a Biden win but this widespread bullishness is causing me to think I made a mistake lol.
My wife will go crazy if Trump wins. China has been tripling down on the anti-Trump propaganda these days. It’s gonna be fun.
Following along from Australia. Exciting times.
I thought this tweet sums up the last four years pretty well:
The next one was way better!
He shoulda posted a link to that Cardi B takin a dump video too!
Cuz she’s relevant!
No the author was not right. Corona was in fact the bigger threat, even on Feb. 1. Flu had more numbers at the time, but covid was more lethal even on Feb. 1.
Thanks for the reply. That was a helpful summation ![]()
Despite my more liberal leanings on social issues, I do not even know who most of those people are. I wouldn’t know Cardi B if I bumped into her in my kitchen.
Now, sports figures are a different issue. I can name bench players on most NBA teams.
Happy to help! I can’t say I’m 100% onboard for all of the policies but they definitely scare me less than the others’. Hoping a prominent 3rd party will force the other two to step up their candidate choices as well - everyone wins then.
Issue is most people think we have a two party system and the media by and large pushes that narrative. They only highlight 3rd parties when they make gaffes only to mock. They never get a chance to highlight their positions except on social media or alternative media outlets.
The issue with that is their message doesn’t really reach any new people and is largely contained within their echo chamber. Ie they’re only preaching to the choir.
You’re spot on here, and it’s mostly because the major outlets have a strong slant and know that a legitimate third party is a threat to “their” candidate. Especially in this election, Jorgensen (and maybe even Hawkins) would have humiliated the main two candidates with their poise and humanity. Johnson (L - 2016) got 3.27% of the vote and JoJo is on course to surpass that pretty handily, so I’m hoping that she at least gets 5%. At that point she is allowed to debate with the big boys and gets a share of campaign funding.
It would take someone already very famous like Mark Cuban to run on one of the established 3rd party tickets for them to ever have a chance.
Jesse Ventura won the governor seat as an independent in my state. Big name is why. So I agree. He was kinda awesome. Pissed a lot of people off, but actually had good fiscal policy IMO.
Just got back from voting - 90 minutes from back of the line to finish. Nice weather so didn’t mind. So it’s probably going to be a while before this thing gets sorted out, but by then end of the night we may know whether Biden is really likely to win, or whether it’s going to be close since Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Ohio will be counting votes. If those more in the know than me would chime in that’d be great but my understanding is that Trump’s path to a win would be really hard if he loses any of those states. Maybe I’ve got in wrong though.
Where are you from? Swing state? IMO, the DEM voters have an advantage if the lines are consistently really long. More people turning away is bad for Trump as his voters are voting in person more than Biden voters. Although if the lines are just really long in certain districts, we can’t say much about the effect. Could hurt DEMs more if it is set up to be long lines in blue areas.
If he loses Florida or Pennsylvania, it is over for him.
