Well Trump is now against the hand recount in Georgia according to his tweet. Something about matching signatures. Not sure what exactly.
I just want him to come out fully and say he won’t be satisfied with a hand recount that includes ballots for Biden. Between the states where he was up (stop the count) and the states where he was behind (let them count) it’s hard for me to keep up.

Maher’s original show was called “Politically Incorrect” and was pretty “safe” on Comedy Central. When it moved to ABC was when the trouble started…and where he was eventually cancelled.
Since moving to HBO with “Real Time” he has had much more leeway and freedom. If I am not mistaken, he has had his contract renewed.
IMO…Maher is much like me. He dislikes hypocrisy and stupid. His attacks on Religion make me cringe a little…but NO ONE is spared. He is a straight-shooter worth listening too.

HBO is extending its Real Time .
The premium cable outlet has renewed its long-running late night show Real Time With Bill Maher for two more seasons. The pickup will take the show through its 18th season in 2022. The show’s previous multi-season pickup was due to expire at the end of this year.
“Eighteen years — I can’t believe I’m turning 18 and HBO isn’t making me leave home,” said Maher. “Thrilled to be living under their roof for another couple of years.”

I have to admit I fully (said it many times on here) a return to the austerity we can’t afford that national debt playbook. But I was certainly off in how far they would go if they lost.
You can’t even argue against the stuff. They were convinced Trump couldn’t lose without someone rigging the election and even without strong evidence they will skip along believing it.

I think a lot of people went all in on Trump and are now trying desperately to prolong the time that he has left by whatever means they can, even if they know that it’s bullshit. The party will move on with a replacement and a change in direction and all the Trump sycophants will be left behind. They had counted on another term and on Trump becoming a Republican legend, but after he flopped all his closest allies are left holding the bag.

In line with what Bill Maher was saying, and what I’ve said about China and Chinese people before:
“Chinese” is a race and a nationality. I will be using the word “Chinese” to mean “race” for the purpose of this post.
Chinese people who are citizens of China only hate Trump because Trump started the trade war and keeps dissing them.
If he didn’t, they would be thinking the same thing as the rest of us Chinese people in Asia:

And I think we would absolutely right in thinking this way. That the dems really pulled off something that should disgust anyone of sound mind, or at least has the mental capacity to tie his own shoelaces.

The other thing Maher and his panel covered the other night during the show that was notable was the hyper partisan news coverage from the liberal side. Fox gets blasted for this all the time but Maher went after CNN and he’s right! I do watch some cable news as there are a couple of anchors on a few networks that seem to shoot straight. For the most part, each network is pandering to whatever base they’re selling their advertisers products to. I find Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper unwatchable. It’s not that I disagree with everything they say, but they just sit there and complain about Trump with exasperated looks on their faces. Just read the f***ing news @$$holes! I’ll form my own opinions, thank you.

Time will tell but I don’t think that’ll happen. I do think the “squad” will continue with their bad ideas, and to be fair to them, that’s what their constituents probably want. But Biden is a centrist and he’s been at this long enough to have his own, more rational motivations. I don’t believe in the scare tactics that he’s going to steer us towards a Marxist revolution. What the Democrats will continue to do is have a lot of infighting and bad messaging that will cause them to fail a lot. They can’t help it. The fact that they’ve lost working class white people as a voting block speaks volumes about how incompetent they are at this.

I wouldn’t think anyone thinks a straight up recount will change the outcome, if veracity of ballot is not ascertained. I have zero training and knowledge of what legal basis that particular recount was called, other than perhaps margin of victory.
The perfect storm that would allow a 3 time presidential loser and running mate that dropped out before the first primary vote was cast, to garner millions more votes than either the first black or woman candidate, is simply too hard for me to logically believe.
But the call is on to move to GA and secure the Senate, because that sounds legit.
