I never said you cheered it up, I said you ignored the question.

I had relatives slaughtered and terrorized by that very issue (Algeria, Lebanon). I was meters away from a terrorist attack in Casablanca that left 26 dead. I experienced it firsthand. How you can say that I’m ignoring it is beyond me.

Pat36 - I’m sure you see the pattern here.

Lixy, always the innocent bystander in the middle of the conflict. Consulting with Arab media, traveling to Darfur, “meters” away from a terrorist attack", Sure Lixy, we all believe you.

Yawn… I am sure you will have claimed to have called Hamas by the end of the night to demand they check with you for their next move.

By the way Lixy, you might advise Hamas that firing their weapons in to the air like they do does cause casualties… You of all people have been so critical of those that “shoot first, and ask questions later”…As you were in another post… Ah the irony.

And yet you always excuse this type of behavior by blaming America for being the root cause.
Ok, when did I ever say America had ANYTHING AT ALL to do with the civil war in Algeria?

You’re making stuff up.

Who do you blame for this violence?

Hard to quantify the level of responsability of both sides. I’m gonna go with Hamas getting most of the blame though. Fatah being the underdog and all…
Let me savor this moment lixy, This is the first time you did not blame america for the arabs problems. I’m a little teary eyed, you grow up so fast.

Yes, and it’s getting old, really. Bash us all the fucking time and then become aghast when we defend ourselves.

Well it looks like there is a new sheriff in town.

At least Israel won’t have to aim as carefully, not matter what they hit they are likely to hit an asshole. I would recommend the citizens of Gaza to get the fuck out ASAP.

Hamas has always wanted war with Israel and now they are in a position to pull it off. War is not far off, that’s my prediction. I believe that Hamas will establish enough stability in Gaza to buy time to rearm. You get weapons from Iran, Syria and other friendlies. After that, watch out.

Hamas will attack and the rest of the world will attempt to stay the hand of Israel. I am not sure that will happen. I think Israel is pretty sick of those assholes.

Whats all the violence about anways? I still don’t get it.

You mean anatomically. Geography is something totally different.
fishing hole would be geographic
your ass would be anatomic.

In this case I’m sure folks reading it got the sarcasm. Sorry you missed it.

Please continue…

Most violence happens for 3 reasons, power, money, or sex. I am guessing power for these bastards. They only want sex from their 72, big hair male virgins waiting to cork them in the here-after.

And why do those pussies wear masks all the time, arre they ashamed? They ought to be ayayayayayayayaya!

The other irony, is that it won’t be long before Hamas is begging again for foreign nations not to cut aid. Like a bad movie repeating itself.

Parasites that they are, they destroy their own infrastructure, forcing their own people to fester in their own sewage, and will ultimately blame others for their own demise.

Combating Saudi influence.

Combating Iranian influence.

Time to shelve any Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Well, at least for a couple of decades. Hell, there’s no hope for a peaceful two state coexistence in our lifetimes.

In fact, I’m betting this summer will see a war of Iranian proxies attacking Israel. I’m talking all out war.

I think it’ll be short and brutal.

Will the other Arab Nations join?

Possibly Syria. As a nation overtly joining in, that is.

Also, UN peacekeepers in Lebanon have exceeded all expectations. That is to say, they’ve successfully protected Hezbollah as they rearmed and prepared.

And now there’s Hamas sitting virtually unopposed in Gaza. Not that Fatah was a bastion of peace, but at least they weren’t Hamas. Gee, I wonder what Hamas plans to do from Gaza, and to whom? Hmmm?

And, then of course there’s Iran. They’ll be the pipeline for money, weapons, training, etc.

Yeah, I think it’s going to be a big one. Before the end of this summer. Mark my words!

A Lebanon / Syria / Hamas / Fatah / Hezbollah / Israel free for all?

Or all vs. Israel?

I wouldn’t get your hopes up guys…

Nah, Fatah is just hoping to survive right about now. Frankly, I think they’re done for. Hamas rules the roost. Talk of a two-state solution is a fantasy now.

Lebanon isn’t going to war against Israel in the traditional sense. However, Hezbollah could care less what Lebanon decides in an official capacity.

Oh, and a very unlikely set of skirmishes between Syria and Lebanon might take place. Again, I doubt it, but I wouldn’t be completely surprised to see some shots fired between the two, if only for a brief time.

I’m thinking Syria, Hamas, Hezbollah vs. Israel. With a lot of Iranian involvement behind the scenes, of course.

It would be inaccurate to believe I would hope for killing.

Lebanon has been having problems in those refugee camps. I think that this would have the potential for spillage.

With all the talk of a Syria backed assassination of Hariri. I think they might just use some pent up animosity and do something.

What hopes? I’m not sure what you’re referring to.
