Upper Push/Upper Pull/Full-Body/Full-Body Split?

Honest question, what’s the problem with the above program? For the vast majority of people, I see no reason why they couldn’t progress on said program

FWIW, Eric Cressey is quite possibly the most successful strength and conditioning coach in North America

I can see some sports carryover from the program, but it’s not supposed to be a sports program. the rep ranges are iffy, and the exercise selection is a headscratcher if the stated goal is hypertrophy. It looks like it would probably be pretty good as an off-season conditioning program for a lot of highschool sports, but not getting bigger. I would give it a zero percent chance of adding 10 pounds of muscle, never mind the stated 20. 20 pounds of actualt muscle is an incredible amount from one run of a training program, even WITH drugs. I can pick it apart line by line if you like.

I totally agree no one’s gaining 20lbs of muscle on this plan.

Progress in what way though? The OP wants to build muscle, this program does not look like any sort of hypertrophy program. Who does “front squats for speed” for hypertrophy? It also looks like a bunch of random exercises thrown together, more basic stuff would work better.

Touché. I forgot OP’s main goal was hypertrophy
