When you say “hurting”, is it a low back issue?
yup. Imbalance, left side is doing all the work. I’m keeping the weight down and trying to emphasize the right leg and lower back (quadratus, erectors, etc). When I can do that, it doesn’t hurt to squat, but it will take a while I think.
Think I need to get some high-rep GMs in there, too, to recondition the area.
I’m a fan of GMs even though they make it feel like my head is going to come off if I go heavy and low.
Bad day for snatches. I’ve been waiting 2 days between sessions and have been fully recovering. Only waited one day and I can feel the difference. I was completely out of position on most of the heavier snatches until the last 2 doubles. Squats are getting snappier at 255 though. Good learning session. I’m going to add sets @135 and above until form improves, no maxes for a bit.
Good session tonight. Meant to do 155 for GMs, but I forgot to take the 10’s off after finishing incline presses. They didn’t feel too bad so I left the 10’s on for another set. Sice it was a 40lb jump from last time I stopped there.
205 C&J pretty much floated up tonight. No stress at all. Bumped up front squat weight since recovering the 205 clean was no problem.

Damn fine lifting Tony. Seems like your strength didn’t fall off much at all with the injury.
Thanks Joe. It did fall of some, but it seems to be coming back fairly quickly. The O-lifting stuff, anyway. Can’t deadlift or squat anywhere near what I used to…yet.

I did a search on the gibbon pullups and the youtube link I got was you doing them. Very good form, to my untrained eye, on the 205.
Thank you, sir. I guess that makes me an inventor/innovator in the world of physical culture…
I’m doing the olympic lifts vicariously through you. I just don’t have the room to do them at the moment.
You are definitely making me wan’t to have a go again though.
I’m impressed how quickly you’ve got back to where you were on them. I’d have thought a high skill movement like that would take a long time to recover. Apparently not.
