Forearm held up. Bailed on Meadows row for the DorsiFlexor machine. Squats were easy. OHPs less so.
Iām really disliking those close grip overhead presses. They are really uncomfortable. If they didnāt help with the past-the-head transition and the lockout, I wouldnāt do them at all.
But they do.
They work better for me than pin presses and with much less set-up.
Glad to read your forearm held up the last workout. Hopefully youāre on the mend.

Misgrooved the first two sets of OHP, made the 4th rep hard. Concentrated better on the third set. I have to focus better going forward and bring some aggression.
Iām feeling the lack of volume. Things are starting to get twinge-y. May replace dumbbell presses for javelin press or add sets to the latter while reducing reps. Have to see how I feel. I still plan to do 80 lbs for it, just havenāt decided how Iāll arrange it.

I opted for another set rather than adding 5 lbs to the OHP. Felt like the right thing to do.
My right foot and calf are never going to come back full strength, but Iām going to pound them with what they can handle.
