WTF? No one from Ontario really likes the Sens, do they?

Either way, it seems a little traitorous to me.

Fuckers. Whatever. We had great seats, right behind the penalty box. Gomez is now a free agent. Heres to next year in Newark…

This is like last year, Sharks are making a bad habit of this. Last year, they were 2 and 0 and then lost 4 straight. They should have been 3 and 1 going into this game , but purely stupid moves made it 2 and 2. Today (4-1) proves this isn’t their year. Even if they beat the Wings by the grace of God (2 games left) they will never make it past the Ducks.

I don’t know exactly how to put this, but the Sharks played today like they didn’t think they were supposed to win. Not that they couldn’t win, but that they weren’t allowed to or something. It was weird.

I didn’t think it would be possible for anybody to match Hasek’s flub in game 2, but Nabby proved me wrong. Datsyuk is the very last guy in the league I would try that with, though it wouldn’t be fun having him in by himself one on one either.[/quote]

I didn’t see the game (11:00 AM PST is about as bad as it can get for a time) but from what I was able to follow on my Blackberry, they got squashed. At 4-1 they got thrashed.

I was at my friend’s lacrosse game, but if it looked anything like the calgary series at the joe, then the sharks got put to shame.

We outworked em and all that that means. In the final analysis it wasn’t any more complicated than that. I could be wrong, but I think SJ is out of ideas at this point. Wilson sounded frustrated and demoralized in the post game interview.

I don’t have the Canadian take on this, but I’ve always kinda liked the Sens myself. They almost lost their team there a few years ago.

Ottawa wasn’t going to lose that game. Similar to our game. Devils strike first, Sens arm wrestle their way back into control and pretty much carried the play the rest of the way.

I could’ve gotten a single ticket to yesterdays game, but I don’t have 135 dollars.

Yeah me either bro. Last night was a total hookup thru a friends company package. Still looking fwd to the rest of the playoffs. Lets go RANGERS!!!

oh and on a side note I went out to breakfast this a.m and fuckin Elias walks in with friends and family in tow! Surprising he looked kind of frail. Tall and lanky. In spite of being a jersey native Ive never run across any of them in public until now.

I was too timid to approach him, and also he looked to be in the company of possibly another player but one I didnt recognize. anyway thus ends my playoff adventures…

We have us a war at the Garden.

Holy shit, crazy 2nd period @ NYC

Rangers fought well at times, but the Sabres advance.

It appears we will get a chance to see whose 4th line will take the East. Drury needs to be mentioned with the all time money players. He just wins, time for Briere to snap out of his trance. Sabres in Six.

That’s gonna be a great series man. I have to think Ottawa has the eye of the tiger right now though it’s gonna be tight.

Mike Illitch does spoil his players

I still have the brawl between us and ottawa saved on DVR, good times.

Makes me miss Biron when i watch it though.

Should be a fun series, expect to see a fight between Peters and Neil 1st game, and possibly 2nd and 3rd and 4th, etc.

Tonight we see if San Jose has developed any character since last season. They’re playing at home with their backs against a very good team, but a very good team with severely depleted D. They need to prove they deserve this series, because so far they certainly haven’t.

Indeed. Nothing taken for granted in Hockeytown, but I don’t how much deeper Wilson’s bag o tricks goes to get his guys motivated.

Don’t remind me about our blue line. Or gray and fuzzy line. We’ve got geriatric vets and peach fuzzy children albeit some fine specimens of both. I was heartened by the fact that our game actually picked up after Schneider’s boo boo on Saturday though and Lebda may be back as early as tonight.

Obviously I am a Sabs fan, that brawl game has set the tone but i don’t think they will drop the gloves, some good hitting and speed, this should go down as the series of the playoffs. Both teams match up well. This one gets the blood boiling.

Well, so far its 1-0 Wings and the Sharks have blown a perfect chance already…

2 nuthin wings and things are not going SJ’s way thus far, but miles to go. Somebody needs to chain Dom to the damn net or explain to him about player positions. He forgets he’s a goalie sometimes. Maybe a mirror somewhere so he can see his own equipment. If it weren’t for a miraculous veteran play from Lidstrom, Grier would have one for sure right now.
