Good extension on my med ball toss today. Actually took time in between reps to work on power rather than just cardio

Chins is a bit disappointing, only a few dudes did 10 or more chins

The good thing about all this is while my training is, at time random and changing, my intensity yields results.

The strict chins are killers though. I made sure not to kip at all as some people were crucified for it

I hope if anything it inspires them. I’m no freak athlete, nor am I some super impressive specimen if you saw me in person. I’m just a product of hard continuous work. There’s a few young lads and some girls that would leave me for dead by the time they get to my age if they start training with purpose now. So I hope, if anything, I show them what they could do…if that makes sense?

You’re kind of a tough comparison for an oaf like me. You’re a little compact in terms of bone structure but you’re strong as shit. It’s no surprise to me that you’re destroying physical challenges where body weight is a factor.

We had a guy like you in my first Academy. He was a beast.

Yeah hopefully you can inspire them. I often think… what if I had started really training in my early 20s. :thinking:

Guiness world record is 140 in one minute. I think the record holder at academy went on to be STAR, our SWAT. From what the instructors said he was build like a brick shithouse. Short arms, big chest.

  2. Superset weighted chins 4x5 and face pulls 4x20
  3. Seated bb press 3x6
  4. 100 KB shrugs followed by 100 banded tricep pressdown
  5. Burpees and ropes 20/10 interval things. You know the drill. 12 rounds this time
