It’s shiny, but depending on how it goes, this might become my regular training. It’s hard to argue with the conditioning/performance aspect. It also throws in some heavy strength stuff, and I’m pretty sure the physique side of things will take care of itself as long as nutrition is good.

Class this morning with girlfriend and then put up 750 cals on the eliptical to roll the legs over

I screwed up my nutrition today. I’m dead on for calories, but over on fat and under on the carbs and protein. I’m seriously considering eating a bagel right now (it’s 10pm).

How are you doing with the carb cycling?

I’m failing. My brain is trying to trick me. Today is a low day, but I hit my calorie goal (3000 calories burned) around 2pm. It’s 8:15, I’m a bit over my calories, and I’m starving.

My brain says “You burned a lot of calories today. Go ahead and eat.”

Well, the hotel that I’m at for the next two weeks has some okay machines, hardest thing will be doing a lower body pull day as no free weights, probably have to load up on cable pull throughs I think. We’ll make it work

Any dumbbells? If so, you could do swings, pulls, snatches, and cleans. I know it’s not the same as a deadlift but they still hit the posterior.

I was too quick to judge. On second inspection there are some free adjustable (but wobbly) free weight handles, a Smith machine and a concept two rower, so I can run a dr Frankenstein HIIB 100 for two weeks I think.

Hotel has a kitchenette so walked to the supermarket and bought steak, eggs and vegetables. Still hitting my macros on the road.
Nothing much to do after work except workout or watch tv so went for a pretty slow 1 hour jog and then had a sauna. Pretty spent so early night for me I think
