The road is long with many a winding turn… no wait a minute that’s just a beer commercial!!
I am starting to feel good. Note I didn’t say strong yet. But my body feels solid and my hip problem has gone away. Time now to eat more food and start to add some weight to me and to the bar. I will compete later this year for sure.
1a press 4x5 W 55kg, last set 8
1b chins 4x25+
2a hang clean 3x5
2b dips 3x20+
3 squats 4x5 W 140kg
2 rds upper chest/rear delt pump work.
Rushed through today without paying attention and was meant to press 52.5, clean 75 and squat 130. Overloaded all. Nothing really ‘heavy’ anyway so it didn’t matter
Straight line beep test today
Ran to level 17 (16km per hour)
I enjoy this one for building speed-endurance.
Doesn’t necessarily improve actual beep test score but at least gives an indicator of the running speed per level. Did some back pump stuff after
You start out on 8.5k/hr (start speed of beep test)
And increase speed by .5 every level
So no stopping and turning like in the normal test, hence easier, but you can get a sense for the speed each shuttle needs to be run at
