*note

Had to drop the weight to 60kg on last two sets of reverse grip bench as my chest was smoked

Chins felt really good

Squats felt really really good, especially set 3
Front squats also surprised me, last set was a bit fatigued but wouldn’t be surprised if I can do more than 140kg now

You ever used loaded lifting brand wraps/straps or belt?

Not really grabbed an economy prong belt from em when I started lifting but I wouldn’t hesitate to use LoadedLifting branded stuff. They sell solid products overall. Bunch of high level Aussie lifters do well with their stuff.

To be fair they stock brand name kinda stuff from other brands as well.

These days I use a pioneer cut belt from IronTanks which is made by pioneer for em. Loaded lifting offers something similar as well as actual pioneer branded belts. Moral of the story is it’s all coming from pioneer and it’s all high quality. The ability to get a half size between holes is awesome.

Wraps wise I use a pair of lilliebridges which I’ve used a bit but haven’t done a full block in a em proper. Wraps materials has like two categories: Rebel sport/Sting/Celsius etc. and decent and LoadedLifting branded stuff is decent enough.

I did use loaded lifting lasso style straps for a while and they were comfy and grippy (some straps are a bit slick which is annoying). Was their cheapest offering IIRC “Regular Lifting Straps” but they do an above average job. Use Cerberus figure 8s these days because they are better for me in every way

Awesome cheers dude. I’ve had a Harris belt for about seven years that I’ve finally grown out of, some slingshot power wrist wraps which are splitting everywhere and some knee wraps that i got from a supplement store about seven years ago and it’s all starting to wear out at the same time…need to invest soon I reckon

I have a pioneer cut belt from loaded lifting and it is great. I also have knee sleeves and wrist wraps from Irontanks and am very happy with them. The irontanks pioneer cut belt is basically he same as the one that loaded lifting sell as for as i can see. I would guess its pretty much the same. The price is the same though, so I would do what piggy said and wait for them to have a sale.

  1. Squats 3x6 at 165kg and 2x10 at 145kg
Wraps for 165, sleeves for 145
  2. Bench 3x5 at 95kg
  3. DB bench 3x8 at 37.5kg
  4. DB flys 3x12 at 15kt

I cut about 3 exercises for legs out because it wouldn’t have really benefited me today. The squats were enough. I did chins after all my benching and warm up sets and some light curls after flys

Hard to say, I don’t get any spring so to speak, more they just let me sit into the position, almost like a box is there, and focus on leg and glute drive

They’re also just some random sportex brand so I doubt they’re really designed well haha
