UnKillable Kleinhound 2: This time he's more unkillable-er

Looking good Puppy.
Looking forward to see how the last couple of Murphs will be.
And awesome job on the test, go kill it the last weeks… you’ll graduate in style.

For an American… but that’s not saying much. If I can consistently run 2-3 days per week for another few weeks then I’ll start to get into a decent spot with my conditioning. I’m never going to be Real World Tactical.

Great stuff here

3 with the vest so far (not including running)
I’m definitely a bit stiff and sore, but not remotely injured

It’s 7:43 on a Saturday morning and 9 degrees outside. I’m sore and I don’t want to run, but that’s why I’m doing this I guess

Just another mile. And some bodyweight stuff. And then another mile.

Yes it is. You’ve got this

9 degrees is almost summer, get out there and do your job :relieved:

The worst thing about 30 days of murph is the lack of beer
God damn I’m going to murder a stout in fifteen days

I don’t get this. Is no-beer just another way to punish yourself, or is it because you are performing at such a high level that a little poison in your body would hurt your next workout?

Mental challenge on top of it. No junk food, no booze

When it becomes realistic for me to do 100 pull-ups in a single workout, I may try to do this for a week or so. I’ve done it twice before back when I did CrossFit. It sucked, massively, but it’s definitely a killer workout and I respect the man it was made in honor of.

Enjoying seeing your journey.

Exactly! Inspired by this, I’ve turned my home workout focus toward squats, pullups, and pushups. Because I’m a long way from being able to complete this once without injury.

Appreciate the support fellas! Keep at it, you’ll get there with patience and consistency

So our gyms should be opening back up on the 8th of June…

That gives me about a fortnight after I finish murph to recover before I attack some new goals with furious intent. Not long now boys and girls

Really inspiring log Puppy. Surprised your body can tolerate this and recover. Awesome.

What sort of sick twisted workout have you in mind after this?

Went back to just bodyweight as I was feeling a bit beat down. Ran my first mile in 6:15 which was a PR out of fucking nowhere. I think I might actually be able to do sub 6 on a rested day on the flat
The second mile was slow and my lungs are blown the fuck up after that

I reckon I’m going to combine my favourite styles of training, hight intensity interval bodybuilding and interval weight training

I’ll draw it out and post a picture of the plan because it’s easier to draw than write out lol
