Any attempt I’ve ever made at gaining was futile while I was biking, but that was riding a good hundred to a hundred fifty miles a week.

I’d say drop the bike for the most part. Just ride for a few hours on the weekend or something to maintain technique.

Keep those quads, itb and hip flexors lose too. They tighten up when you ride alot, and can cause some serious problems.

Ya know vroom… I failed ENG Comp 101 3 times before I finally passed it. Thank god I didn’t have to write to much to get an engineering degree… or else I would be shit outta luck. The irony here is that my sister is an
English professor. So much for genetics… I don’t believe in them anymore. I believe in enviornmental genetic evolution as you go through life… contributing to a certain percentage of your genetic make-up. How else would there be evolution without some form of evolving. Unless it takes place in the womb, I would think your enviornment has something to do with your present genetics.
