Under 25 09er Deep Squats 285x30

I figure that i will get torn a new one for the time it took to complete all 30 and my form. The time is just that i have no excuses. But as form goes i know i sacrifice form some when i do these high rep things. but im used to deep squatting for low reps 3’s or 5’s and sometimes 6-8. so these high reps completely throw me off. but feel free to say what you wish. lol

and please ignore the music. i added metallica before i put it on youtube and i got banned for licensing issues and used audioswap that turned out to be an acoustic version of a song that already isnt my favorite

Pros:
-You actually Squat
-You’re squatting above 200lbs and do high reps
-You’re humble

Cons
-Attention Whoring for posting in the GAL forum
-There’s no solid picture of that hot chick in pink pants
-The music is TERRIBLE
-Form isn’t great and I was worried you were gonna collapse on every rep
-You’re 2009 = Automatic Fail

yes the music is terrible. where should i have posted this? its just a useless video so i didnt consider it as part of a training log. its definately not powerlifting. im nowhere near a bodybuilder so i just chose get a life because i didnt think it fell into any of the hardcore catagories. and the forms bad but if i was doing normal reps my form is much much better. and really, 09er so i automatically fail. thats a bit harsh. im sure there are a few 09ers that arent so bad. i might not be one of them but theres no way we are all bad

Until 2010, everything you do is an automatic fail. But right now, you’re the only turd that’s floated to the top.

Beginners, Bodybuilding training, Strongman, Powerlifting, Training Logs, Bodybuidilng, and…that’s about it. Those threads are dedicated to training. You would have more people who would compliment you and critique your form. They would give you great advice and there wouldn’t be as much prejudice against you.

Get A Life a forum is more for fun, funny jokes, and time killing. There’s also more trolls in GAL forums.

I got nothing. Super high rep sets of anything, let alone squats, automatically tend to be loose with form. I do wish you’d started out stricter though. The best thing is that ALL your reps hit the same depth, which is rare anyways let alone a high rep set like this. Good job.

You’ve got to be the only 09er I know that’s serious and of a good skill level.

Wol’s right though…until 2010 you’re still an automatic fail. Nothing personal, you just got a bad class made up of trolls and spammers. Once Jan 1st hits though you’re automatically graduated to the ‘non-shithead’ list while the rest of your classmates stay back a year :wink:

That dive bomb’s impressive. I honestly don’t think your form’s that bad. Stopped watching at 15 reps but I got the idea. Had to mute the song as soon as I heard the guys voice. All in all pretty good.

Good work! Pretty impressive squatting there, definitely not something a beginner could do. Form looks pretty good to me, I’m a depth nazi so you got an A+ bud. Keep up the good work.

dude, ur a beast for doing 285 for 30. thats awesome. you also did about 20 good mornings in there so u did even more work. i dont know how ur knees can take that man, when i get to 285 my patella tendon feels like its gonna tear off my leg. overall though, great work man, just be wary the next time you this high rep stuff to not fall on ur face.

my max when going this deep is around 425, but its also a lot lot slower on the decent and without so much bend. i have bad and good days but thats right around where i am. another reason why this looks bad is because im a high bar squatter because of how deep i attempt to go. however, when doing thirty’s my traps start to kill holding the weight that long on my traps so i slid the bar down which makes me come forward more and it feels more awkward like that too.

actually doing this didnt affect my knees at all. i understand why you would be concerned but never did my knees hurt during or after these.

im doing a workout right now that i do a 30 rep max on all of my main lifts so today will be squat again. i think today i will be attemping 295 x 30 if things feel good. we will see what happens. eventually i will hit a point where 30 just wont happen. i just dont know how far i can push that point to yet.

I tried a 30 set max on bench this week and thought 200 x 30 would happen but i only got 200 x 28 reps. so hopefully i can improve my squat and bench 30s a little before i quit these workouts
