They sent me a case of Spike for free before.
They were good.
What does it do ??
Yep, I am definitely stocking up on Indigo this time.
There is an awesome description
When Amazon is used. There is no accountability for quality control and customer service.
When Bio test quality control gets questioned, Bio test then blames Amazon for the issue and tells consumers to "Take it up with Amazon "
Very convenient for Bio test
What quality control issues have you run into with the supplements themselves when it comes to Amazon orders? I didn’t think they involved themselves in manufacturing.
Ive had several batches of flame out shipped to me rancid. Customer support said to take it up with Amazon
Ah yeah, that does sound more like a shipping and distribution issue. Most likely Amazon kept it in their warehouse for too long.
That’s been my experience, too — but the only times I get frustrated over an item stockout is if it’s irreplaceable in its effects or Diet Dr. Pepper.
I’m a supplementation minimalist — take only what you need of bona fide actives, and be as objective as possible when verifying effects. If in doubt, stop taking the product and experiment with something else.
If a Biotest supplement can’t pass your test, kick it to the curb.
Just keep being curious.
Your facts are correct; your conclusion that I hid the fact we were going to discontinue Brain Candy is incorrect.
In addition to you, several of our staff love Brain Candy, kept giving me that look about being out of stock, and championed its return. Our customer service department demanded I give dates and refused to accept my “I don’t know.” So, I tried my best to estimate BC’s return, knowing we had three significant hurdles to clear:
- Finding a shot manufacturer who’s competent and NOT totally insane.
- Managing the increasing costs of already expensive ingredients.
- Maintaining reasonable shipping costs of liquids.
I struck out on all three.
Oh, we can make Brain Candy 16-Packs, but we’d have to charge $96.00, knowing 20% would sprout leaks during shipping and frustrate customers.
I’m wired for not giving up AND not repeating stupid — and not repeating stupid trumps not giving up.
I could’ve told you this decision earlier, but it wasn’t on my mind.
I’m really sorry I didn’t.
@Tim_Patterson
Why not a powder form of BC? Won’t spring leaks.
ty sir
Thank you, I appreciate your humility and transparency.
As an aside: I loved brain candy so much, I’d pay the $96 anytime I could afford it. IMO best product I’ve ever had from Biotest
I don’t know what this is but I want it now
I’ve had busted bags/containers, rancid Flameout, and at least 5 shipments of capsules (2 x D-Fix, 2 x Res-V, 1 x Flameout) where the supplements were clearly not stored properly, as the capsules were a giant fucking glob of unusable melted goo. In total, I’ve only had one issue directly from T-Nation, in 20+ years of ordering from them, and that was a busted cap/seal on a Flameout bottle, which T-Nation promptly replaced after I sent a picture. I’m confident this is Amazon’s issue, because I’ve received bottles of amalgamated goo from Life Extension K2 bottles as well. I make Amazon replace it each time, but it’s a pain in the ass unless you enjoy being pushy like I do.
I’ve now also had my Subscribe and Save cancelled by Amazon for both Surge and Finibars. Surge because it’s “cancelled” and Finibars due to a “a significant price increase.”
Amazon gives zero shits about taking care of you or your products because they operate on thin margins by shipping eleventy-billion packages a day. Your broken shit means little to them. To Biotest, you are far more significant.
In my estimation, the Biotest-on-Amazon experiment is failed, and I will return to ordering directly from Biotest.
@GVR_4 I completely understand your position. The good news is you can keep getting Biotest supplements directly from us. Our fulfillment center is climate-controlled to 68°F (even in summer), and Jonathan keeps it pristine clean. I’m in it multiple times daily, too.
I have been reading this but staying silent since I love Biotest and don’t want to stir trouble or bad-mouth, but GVR_4’s comments got me to reply.
After being “directed” months ago to use Amazon for my subscription, each month, at least two products don’t arrive due to either being out of stock (this month it’s Surge and Rez-V) and/or due to “Substantial Price Increase” (this month it’s ElitePro Minerals and FINi bars). I have yet to understand why they can’t honor my subscription due to a price increase when the subscription price is set and doesn’t change or give us the option to still have the product(s) ship (and, if I want to pay full/non-subscription price, the products are typically still available on the Amazon site).
I would love to give my money to Biotest directly instead, but unless I am mistaken, they don’t offer monthly subscriptions nor subscription pricing any longer and if I am going to have to pay full price, Amazon gets to my house several days faster.
All in all, it’s frustrating, for different reasons, on a monthly basis.
You can order directly from the biotest website and avoid paying full price if you order in bulk. They give you a discount for orders over a certain amount. This is how I like to order my products. It’s not the same as a subscription. Subscriptions are clearly more convenient. You got to plan ahead for this but it’s worth it.
I use Amazon for a lot of things, but not for something I am going to stick in my mouth.
