Does Biotest talk about products under development and let us know what supplements they’re working on/improving or are they very Apple Computer-like and secretive about their industry trade-secrets?
I’m anxious to know what’s coming soon or what is being revamped!
I would love more Metabolic Drive protein flavors or larger sized tubs. 5 lb tubs for maybe, $40-45?
Biotest is an exciting company!
I think it was stated before that the markup on protein powder (Metabolic Drive) is really small, and buying it in a 4 pound tub would cost exactly the same as two 2-pound tubs. That was one of the reasons that made the Grow! Whey supplement.
Most of the products they had “leaked” (Beta-7, Carbolin 19, BCAA) are currently out, with the exception of “Anaconda” which no one here has ANY clue about. I read pretty regularly and can’t recall any other supplements in the pipeline they have written about.
There are quite a few, actually.

Not enough. And whenever they do, we all get wound up about “when?” and go crazy with the indefinite answers. I’d almost rather not know about anything new until the store banner suddenly changes on the home page.

Will a mod or someone in-the-know tell us when we might expect a new product intro? Sometime in the next 2 months?
its going to be whoop ass in a can.
tim, bill, Cy, and whoever else are working on getting the whoop activated in the lightly carbonated beverage, there is no worries with the ass component as it is stable and bioavailable.
think of it as a big brother to the Spike Shooter. the Spike Shooter puts you on your ass, well this is so powerful, it’ll put your opponents on their ass without you touching them.

Anaconda’s still in the works? Huh…not sure why, but I’d gotten the impression that was a product that got pulled in development. Am I off base there?

If you pay really REALLY close attention they seem to leak things by mentioning something in passing. For example, several months ago there was a discussion of Greens + and TC or Chris mentioned something along the lines that it was one of the things they were considering. One sentence hinting at a Biotest version, and I never read it again. So, translation could be that there may be a Biotest greens product in 2007.
That’s what I think the leaks are. TC and Chris occasionally think out loud, which ends up being a hint of what’s on the pipeline.

No idea. Everyone was talking about it, and then I read nothing. I probably missed something.
Any chance you can actually confirm if you guys intend to release a greens product at some point? I can already envision the tablets in the new Biotest style…

They JUST made Surge more economical in the 3 pounds tub, and that probably had nothing to do with the increase in size. They’ve stated before that the markup on proteins would NOT be effected by selling them in bulk.
Besides Anaconda and a greens product, it was also mentioned that they wanted to do a multi, but wouldn’t until they could figure out how to do it best, i.e. vitamin in morning, antioxidant around workout time, and mineral before bed, or something like that.
But, they can be frustating at “accidentally” leaking a product name or type and then never mentioning it again until it actually comes out, no matter how hard we poke and prod.

I’ve said it before on here, but I really miss Tim’s BTS every Friday.
It seemed like every week was a hint or outright notice of a new product they were working on. Plus, it was cool to see what went on in the supplement/fitness business.
I guess Tim being too busy to do this is the price we pay for Biotest being the company that it is today.
Oh well, progress et al…
apparently a new product is being developed as a fat loss powder with Berardi’s help in the project.
